The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

It was the perfect backdrop for my plans, the ideal setting to reclaim what had been unjustly taken from me and from Olivia. Sitting on the squalid cot, the stench of mould and despair a thick cloud around me, my mind churned with dark schemes and vengeful plots. The guards stood like silent wraiths outside my cell, their masks of indifference betraying no hint of the storm they were guarding. They saw a prisoner where they should have seen a tempest, the harbinger of ruin.

Lucy Wehbe Saade
I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

The One

The One

*Permiton* *Several Days Ago* We stand on the edge of the shoreline, and the visions attack me, sharp and violent. Each image is simply a possibility, a road that will unfurl depending on what decision we make. River and Brook stand by the water, each trying to conjure a narwhal-pulled ferry, but they’re wasting their energy. It will not come for them; they’ve been exiled. The moment the decree was made, every living organism in this country turned against them.

UNVEILING THE BILLIONAIRE'S HEART

UNVEILING THE BILLIONAIRE'S HEART

He knew it was Starkov’s dogs barking for attention. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets and pulled the curtains back. He needed to see the world outside this room. Below, the street was alive with the mundane. He watched people drift in and out of the yard. A group of nuns crossed the pavement, their dark robes a sharp contrast to the small children holding their hands. For a fleeting second, Jonathan envied them. Their world was simple but his was a house of chaos.

Bully Me, Alpha

Bully Me, Alpha

inscribed at the top. Numerous white teenagers strolled into the school grounds, some even arriving in their fancy cars. As I exited the taxi, clutching my backpack tightly, I couldn't help but notice the curious gazes of the other students. I was the only odd one among them—a dark-skinned Omega from the Woodland pack, one of the enemies of this pack. Their eyes examined me, and whispers of disgust floated in the air. They hated me for my rank and my appearance, making me feel unworthy and unattractive. The remarks that once targeted my race were now replaced with disgust for my Omega status.

The President's Mate

The President's Mate

My legs weren’t bound, thank God, but they were stiff from hours—maybe longer—of sitting on cold concrete. Okay, Jimmie. Think. Use that overactive imagination for something other than spiralling. My eyes locked on the small, grimy window near the ceiling. Too small to escape through, but maybe— I staggered toward it and stood on a rusted oil drum to peek through. Outside, the world was dark. The building looked like some run-down auto shop in the middle of nowhere. Just trees. Silence. And a whole lot of nowhere. But then—I heard it before I saw it.

LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA

LOVE WITH THE WRONG ALPHA

I was about to eat some stolen fruit when I heard a tree branch break nearby. I quickly hid behind a tree. I grabbed my knife, ready to attack whoever it was. "Come on, come out. I see you, pretty girl. Surrender to us or this won't end well for you if we decide to use our strength," I heard one of the three men say. From their foul smell, I knew they were outsiders. They smelled bad because most outsiders didn't bother to bathe and clean themselves. "We're asking you nicely, dear. Come out while you still can," I heard a man say.

Outsider in My Own Marriage

Outsider in My Own Marriage

The absence of my presence these past few years had made me accustomed to compromising in front of Sophie and her family. Even when Julius replaced me in the family portrait, or when every New Year's dinner table was filled with dishes Julius liked, I endured it. I even comforted myself by telling myself that things weren't so bad if someone could stay by their side in my place. I thought that as long as the family was happy, nothing else mattered. But today, a single apple gave me a wake-up call. If they already saw me as an outsider, why was I still trying so hard to belong?

Woke Up As A CEO

Woke Up As A CEO

Hearing those words comming from the mouth of the teen, Oliver keep silent. He didn't say a word and keep on listening. "That person is no ordinary. He is idolized by many for his idealism but one never knew that his gang would be that big. Once you are part of them, there is no turning back. The only way to get out of their gasp is death."

MISS GOLD DIGGER

MISS GOLD DIGGER

All through my journey home, I had nasty and wild imaginations about Oliver; it was as though I jumped into a still pond and struggling hard not to be swept away by the storm. I couldn't seem to get him off my mind, and the more I thought about him, the more intrigued I was. I heaved a sigh of relief when I got to my apartment.
