Joe Bandit P.O.V I felt like someone punched me in the gut and I couldn’t breathe. When Gio told me, what happened to John I almost joined him in destroying the house. That didn’t happen, only because Chasity heard Gio throwing things and came running downstairs. When I told her that John died, she threw her arms around me and hugged me tight as she cried her eyes out. My eyes flooded with tears, and I tried to keep it at bay but it was useless.

“Stay out of this, stupid lover boy, and I’ll spare you. You don’t want to be a hero to a bitch.” Johnny didn’t say anything. He just stood there, pointing the gun straight at Marshall. Marshall laughed—harder this time. “Nothing? Well, that’s what I expected from a pussy like you.” Then his expression darkened, as if he hadn’t just laughed. And suddenly, he turned and kicked me over and over on my tummy. “MARSHALL!!!” Johnny roared, then pulled the trigger.

One strong gust of wind will bring it down. “Mav, call in reinforcements.” I say, and he does. I walk the perimeter, but there are no bikes, no signs of life anywhere. I keep walking when I spot a bracelet on the ground. I pick it up and see Johnny’s name on it. Did he leave us breadcrumbs? Smart kid. I hear a whimper and turn and walk in the direction and see Johnny on the ground in a ditch. “Johnny.” I run to him. “HOUND!” I shout as Johnny lies on the ground.

The other four men stayed frozen, but I could feel their fear like static in the room. I rose, smoothing my shirt, ignoring the blood staining my knuckles.. “Time to put an end to this shit,” I said as I turned my back to them, my footsteps echoing up the stairs. The first gunshot cracked behind me, followed by another. The screams cut short, and then silence. I took another drag from my cigarette. Johnny had just signed his death warrant.

On the way to the alliance, he attacked and snapped her neck with a crunch himself. In her final moments, Amy glared at him with hatred. "Johnny, you're just a useless piece of trash!" With that, she died. Johnny was arrested for deliberately inflicting harm and murder, then sent to the alliance to await trial. At last, this mess was over. When Zack and I heard the news from our subordinate, neither of us showed much reaction. Zack nuzzled my neck. "After everything that happened, I thought you'd be happy to hear this."

“How dare you ask someone to lie to me about lung cancer when it was pneumonia! Are you looking for trouble?” He put his hand around her neck. “I- I didn’t…lie.” Tears rolled down Olivia’s cheek. She was crying because she had been happy just now, but her tears of joy did not last long. The time of pleasure was so short that it seemed like everything just now had been a dream. With a swift and decisive motion, Johnny spun around and delivered a powerful kick to Kevin's midsection, sending him crashing to the ground with a pained groan. Kevin writhed in agony, clutching his stomach as he gasped for breath. "Mr. Langley, why are you beating me?" Kevin protested weakly, his voice tinged with desperation. It reminded me of the day my Dad was killed by one of this guys. But this time around, I am not just gonna stand here and be a coward or hide behind the sacks like I hid behind those trash cans in the alley three years ago. Everything was now moving in slow motion, I stretched my gun out front with both hands and squeezed my eyes closed as I pulled the trigger. My heart was racing faster than a racing horse.
