Three weeks passed like that. Oliver came back on a Thursday, Miranda dropping him at the door with a bag full of drawings he'd done. He walked straight past me and went to find Cinnamon, and I heard him from the kitchen, his voice ringing down the hall: "Mama. Look. I drew Auntie Khole with wings." There was a brief silence before Cinnamon's hoarse voice responded, "she looks beautiful, baby. She looks just like her." I walked into the kitchen with my hands on the counter and breathed through my nose and stayed there.

He shot me a gigantic, face-splitting smile. With that pronouncement, he dropped my hands and his form exploded in black, icy blue, and silver sparks. Once his animal form took shape, it was the blue-black of Kord's and Oliver's hair. The color seemed to pull light in and trap it. The top of its head was even with my hips. The owl looked up at me, icy blue eyes keen in its heart-shaped face. Its head tipped to the side as if asking me a question. I shrugged. "Well, let's go then," I said.

We walked past a lane with houses on either side, the side of Valeras where normal wolven families lived. Somehow, we’d avoided the guards that patrolled the grounds by this time. Dragging the dead weight on my back, we stopped in front of a small house with just one window beside a wooden door. It resembled a small hut, just like most of the houses on this side of Valeras. I lifted my fists to the door and knocked on it. “Are you sure Oliver?” Keyleth reached for my arm, dragging my eyes to hers. My lips parted to speak when a rattle came from behind the door and the handle twisted, revealing a male that looked to be in his late twenties.

When I looked up, I saw two bright yellow eyes staring at me intently. “Ole, good to see you.” Thank God his cup was full. “I see Owen pleased you tonight." The brew smelled bad, and I had no desire to refill it. Owen was brewing some sort of rodent tea for clients like Ole, the were-owls. "Do you need anything else?" He looked down at his cup for a moment, and then his large, unblinking eyes met mine again. "No." I knocked on the counter and smiled. "We had a great chat."

He had his comics with him and it felt like home. "I missed you," he mumbled into my shoulder. "Ollie, I've missed you more," I whispered, stroking his hair. "Let's go home." For the next few minutes, I gathered his stuff together, talked about some things with the doctor, signed a document and wheeled my baby brother out. ……….. The house felt cooler than I had remembered. And dark, too. Oliver was curled up on the couch, covered in his favorite blanket, a plate of toast sitting in front of him and his comic book in hand. I was always glancing over at him every minute like he would just disappear.

Ariadne was amazed with its beauty and quit surprised not ever seeing on ever. Moreover, a small great horned baby owl was resting itself on her shoulder. Its eyes were open and it has golden eye with black circles around it. It has pure white fur with black highlights its chest with thick feathers around its neck just like a fur. It keeps making a small ‘hooo’ sound every time she jumps. Eve hiss at her owl in a low voice. “Marion! You have to keep quiet! If anyone hear you, they will catch us and we’ll be punished for sure. Do you know how hard it is to hide from Khalid?”

I let out laughter, bringing my hand to tap over the slender thin fur-coated creature. Oriel is my pet Weasel since way back, and together with the rest of his many brothers and sisters, we make a family of our own. The hooting of an Owl distilling the night air also retrieves my smile and I turn in time with a large grew and white Owl gliding down in the air. I shriek, mixing my footing and falling back to land on my butt with a wince. With a faint frown on my face, I regard the large bird perching on my shoulder, “Hey, that’s no friendly greeting at all”.

A rustle erupts to her right, and she squints at the shadow on the ground, her night vision granted by her wolf counterpart allowing Olivia to easily make out the shape of what appears to be an owl, the bird perched higher on the small cliff of soil and leaves. The owl peers back at Olivia for a moment, holding in its beak a worm, and with the sound of another ruffle in the forest, the owl takes off, vanishing through the trees’ crowns. Olivia shrugs and stands from her crouch position, and she quickly dresses herself back, grabs her phone that she tucks in her sweatpants’ pockets, and she trudges to the forest’s outskirts, making her way back to the flat. "Maybe they were close?" Owl's expression turned into a suspicious one. "Yvonne is hiding something from us." Asty looked at him. "What do you mean?" "Nothing." Owl pretended a laugh and poked the young woman's nose. "What are you doing this early outside?" he changes the topic. "I was just walking around." "Where's Chaol?" "He told me that he was gonna rest." "I see." Asty curiously looked at Owl. "By the way, Mr. Owl, how are you able to withstand the Sun?"

Its surrounding environment was great, and it was normal for there to be wild animals from time to time. Olivia had just fallen asleep. She hadn't gotten into a deep sleep yet. She immediately opened her eyes when she heard the owl hooting. Normally, Ethan would already be home at this hour, but he wasn't home yet. Madam Burgess hadn't been staying in recently, too. She was the only one in the enormous house. The room was in complete darkness. There were only some warm yellow lights in the yard. She saw a large owl as soon as she opened her eyes.
