I never knew that this place existed in real life. Since I was young, I was locked up in an orphanage. And we aren't allowed to go out. I always wished that someone would adopt me. And that is my most regret in life. I thought I already saw rainbows and butterflies when Odin adopted me. But I was mistaken. The day he adopted me is the day my nightmare starts. I was just six years old back then when he brought me to The Ora. This is a secret criminal organization build-up of Hybrids and extraordinary beings with one mission: to destroy the world.

The Fame Paradox

The Fame Paradox

Grayson's stare fixed on Carson, cold and unwavering. “Is this your first time, Carson?” Grayson inquired, his voice misleadingly serene. "Certainly, sir," Carson responded, adjusting awkwardly. Grayson inclined slightly, his tone calm and consistent. "Now allow me to clarify how everything operates in this place. Titan Holdings does not pursue trends merely to seem innovative. We develop practical, scalable solutions that are advantageous for the communities we establish. Abolishing conventional public transportation may seem innovative in theory, but in reality, it estranges a considerable portion of the population and leads to accessibility challenges. A city cannot be considered smart if

I shook my head. “I can’t believe how naïve all of you could get. Paradise is a representation of heaven, and heaven is above us. When you say they are watching over us from above, it means they’re dead. For the Animies to survive, they have to kill a Demi to extend their life. I’ve been thinking about it all day long, and I think I have solved the puzzle. It is part of the curse,” I smirked. They looked at me with confusion all over their faces.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

Mafia Paradise

Theo• "You don't have choice, Theo." My father, Fernando Santos, complains annoyingly. He's been going on and on about this fucking topic since the past few months. "I do." I reply, carelessly shrugging my shoulders as I wrap my fingers around my necklace, trying to control my anger. "Seriously?" He yells over the blasting club music. "You just turned twenty-five and you haven't even thought about marriage. You're getting too old." Twenty-five is still young, is he on crack?

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

The Lost Angel: Pilgrims

“My soul and those souls. Now, you bargain yours too.” The room was lit by floating lanterns. Above them was no ceiling but of sky full of stars. Imagining the celestial magnificence of the entire universe, the vampires had their ways to reimagine Paradise which they could no longer be included. “There’s still hope for us,” Kristina said. “The Paradise is still present. There’s a Siren on the land. Whatever his plans are, there’s a greater purpose on it.” “If Paradise still existed, then this will be too.”

A Paradise Called Us

Sam pursed her lips, "Is he forcing you to have one?" Karen shook her head, "He's given Kevin and Elliot another ultimatum. He said the first to give him an heir will have a greater part of his will." Sam rolled her eyes and sat back, "Why do the problems never finish??!" Karen sighed, "I don't think I can carry a child, Sam. I'm afraid I'll die quicker than I should and even worse, with the child." Sam felt sorry for her friend, "What are you going to do now?"

"Hm... so we do have a weight minimum that we enforce which is 120 pounds. I know you're close, but because of the wind levels today we can't permit you to go alone. You could go with someone else, though." How embarrassing, I thought. I knew it wasn't a big deal, but it kind of made me feel like a child. Like I was the one that wasn't tall enough to go on the big girl rides. "Oh... um. Can Ryan go again with me?" I asked. "He already went, and when you rented the boat one ride per person was paid for, tandem or individual," he explained. I let out a sigh. If I wanted to go parasailing, I knew what I had to do. Begrudgingly, I made my way over to a very smug looking Alec. "Hey, Jayna. Need s

Saved by the Archangel

Saved by the Archangel

" It's just that the color of your iris is similar to the galaxies that humans spend decades trying to study to find out if there is life on the planets that exist there. I've always wondered why your eyes are that color. "My master puts no limit on his creations, Elena," he said with a very beautiful smile. Talking about God was a subject that brought him genuine happiness, even after all, he was still grateful to exist. That was beautiful and sad." He can mix the colors and shapes he wants, and still give life to something never seen before. But, yes, I think that to explain paradise to you I would have to base myself on what humans learn as children. Paradise is not above the clouds, it h

The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule

Then the First Creator speaks with urgent alarm: “Wait…sealing reality with merged consciousness inside doesn’t eliminate the paradox. It just contains it. But contained paradoxes grow stronger in isolation, not weaker. In approximately three thousand years, the merger paradox will become strong enough to break through the seal. And when it does, it won’t just contaminate adjacent realities, it’ll unmake them completely. You haven’t solved anything. You’ve just delayed universal destruction.” The Pre Creator pauses mid-seal. “That's an accurate assessment,” it admits. “Containment is a temporary solution. In three millennia, the paradox exceeds seal integrity.” “So what's the permanent solut

Frequently Asked Questions

I just finished reading 'The Paradise Problem' last week and had to look up the author because the writing style was so captivating. The book is written by Christina Lauren, which is actually the pen name for the writing duo Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. These two have been collaborating on romance novels since 2013, and their chemistry shows in every page. 'The Paradise Problem' has their signature blend of witty dialogue and emotional depth that makes their books so addictive. Their other popular works include 'The Unhoneymooners' and 'The Soulmate Equation', but this newest release might be their best work yet with its perfect balance of humor and heart.
