Delilah’s Guilty Pleasure

Delilah’s Guilty Pleasure

Three days had passed since Emilia had her public meltdown and fled to mommy's house with her tail between her legs. Three glorious days of silence from Mrs. High-and-Mighty Romano. And here I was, in my new beautiful Parisian house. The apartment was covered in a stunning cream and gold, with French windows that opened onto a tiny balcony overlooking the street. It was a courtesy of Jax. Istood watching the man himself sprawled across my velvet sofa like he owned the place.

Winning My Ex Wife

Winning My Ex Wife

Eloise: I glanced around my new apartment with a burst of pride in my chest. I Was Here. I was in Paris. Far away from the pain and sorrows of my broken marriage. I had been here for a week but it still hurt like fresh stab wounds in my chest. I couldn't believe he'd thrown all we could have become away like I didn't matter. The humiliation was still imprinted in my mind like a tramp stamp. And the image of Charlotte and Edward together had haunted me for the last week and a half like a recurring nightmare

The Lost Heiress’s Glorious Return

The Lost Heiress’s Glorious Return

It felt good to move lightly, packing not for protection or expectation but for pleasure. Landing in Paris felt like stepping into a painting. The air was crisp, fragrant with hints of fresh bread and wet stone. Cobblestone streets invited us to wander; cafés spilled warmth onto the sidewalk, and the occasional accordionist added an unanticipated soundtrack we quickly adored. Our apartment in the Marais was exactly as we had imagined: exposed beams, sunlight flooding tall windows, and a small balcony overlooking a quiet street where life meandered gracefully. Mia ran straight to the windows, pressing her palms to the glass as if she could catch the city in her hands. “We’ve arrived,” she whi

Fragrance of Memories

Fragrance of Memories

A fleeting glance, a quick smile, an accidental brush of the hand that left both startled… As night fell over Paris, golden lights reflected off the shimmering Seine, mirroring the mysterious night sky. Camille stood on her apartment balcony, inhaling the cool night breeze deeply.

THE BILLONIARE UNWANTED SUBSTITUTE BRIDE

THE BILLONIARE UNWANTED SUBSTITUTE BRIDE

"Then I’m coming with you." He met her gaze. "Are you sure? This might destroy everything." "Or it might heal something you didn’t even know was still bleeding. Either way, we face it together." Paris was a different world romantic, timeless, haunting. The city carried echoes of stories whispered through the centuries, and now, it would carry theirs too. They stood outside a modest building in Montmartre. The address was scrawled in his mother’s handwriting, tucked between old letters found in the Zurich apartment. Sebastian stared at the door for a long time.

City of Longing

City of Longing

In a muffled voice, he said, "Giving flowers is supposed to be something guys do. You did what I wanted to do for you first. What am I supposed to do now?" "I like you, so I wanted to give you flowers. There's no rule about who has to give to whom." Seeing Cora standing before him with flowers first thing in the morning felt unreal to Sebastian. Only when he held her tightly in his arms did that feeling of unreality lessen slightly. Cora ended her travels and decided to stay with Sebastian while he recovered. By the time they returned to Capitoville, it was already winter. Heavy snow had fallen over the northern part of the city.

My Husband's Brother

My Husband's Brother

“It doesn't. “ Max says, coldly, “We are here. “ He stops the car and gets off without answering. It's raining heavier now and as I get out of the car, he passes me his coat to cover myself with. I am soaking wet, he is too. We get into the building to an amazing apartment on the top floor. The tall French windows overlook the whole city. The living room is enormous and there are no walls in this part, just the tall windows, leading to a huge terrace. Max doesn’t have to turn the lights in the apartment on because the lights of the city are enough. This is the most beautiful view I’ve seen.

My Dismissive Fake-Love Marriage

My Dismissive Fake-Love Marriage

He sets her bags on the bed, and she moves to reach into her purse for a tip. He shakes his hands, “Non, non, mademoiselle. Uhm . . . enjoy Paris.” He touches the brim of his hat and disappears down the stairs once more, leaving her alone in her Paris apartment. Despite the tiny size, she squeals and spin in place, ungracefully knocking into the iron-framed bed that’s somewhere between a twin and a full size but looks comfortable and fluffy with quilts. “Ouch,” Monica mutters to the empty room. Beyond that, there’s a small desk with a stool tucked under it, a cooking area with a single electric eye, which is below a shelf that contains two place settings of white porcelain dishes and a coff

My wife, my enemy!

My wife, my enemy!

Avery asked, taken aback by his words. “We’ll stay for as long as the bathtub appeases you” Fredrick teased. Seeing that he was taunting her, she hurriedly leapt back to bathroom. “I’ll be out in a minute!” She exclaimed. Alex and Margaret stepped into the lounge of the restaurant at Pullman Square. The night life in Paris was completely different from what they had in Greenville. The blend of sophisticated urban culture with the excitement of tourists illuminated a sort of warmth in the city and it found its way into Margaret.

Luna of the Menae

Luna of the Menae

I try to blink the feeling away and take a deep breath. Wait? They sent us to Paris without a portal? I look around the apartment and notice the teal colored accent pieces strategically placed around. No. They sent us to the Mavri Magea apartment, but there are windows now. It’s bright outside and a light breeze moves through the sheer curtains, making them gently flutter. “Windows?” I gasp. “There’s never been windows here before.”

This story was “ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL”!! I love love loved it!! So well written & very descriptive!! The characters had such depth! My favourite characters were Bronx and Kas(Iokaste), of course!! They went through “SO” much, but made it through!!
Sarah Geer
Love this book and this author. She has found a way to write two books that seem like completely different stories but then happen to intertwine at an unexpected point. Ever chapter she posts leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait to continue reading this series!
