Prisoner of Shame

Prisoner of Shame

And he didn’t tolerate threats. Now, climbing the staircase of his estate—marble floors cold beneath his boots, walls echoing the silence of wealth and rot—David moved like a man with purpose. When he reached the third floor, he paused at the final door in the east wing. The only one that mattered. The door that held his girl. His prize. His penance. His cage-bound salvation. He unlocked it slowly. Deliberately. As if the weight of what waited inside needed reverence. Click. He stepped in.

Reborn to Rewrite the Throne

Reborn to Rewrite the Throne

The throne was never truly within his reach. The hall held its breath as I lifted the circlet. I stepped toward the princes. Before I could place it in anyone’s hands, Ethan suddenly strode forward and dropped to one knee. “Your Majesty,” he said, voice ringing clear through the chamber, “I beg you to release me from this honor. My heart already belongs to another.” He turned slightly, reaching toward Ava without touching her. “Lady Ava Miller is the woman I love,” he continued without hesitation. “Our devotion is neither fleeting nor shallow. No one but her will ever be my wife.”

You Want My Throne? Never

You Want My Throne? Never

On the day my fiancé, Raphael Moretti, and I were supposed to get our marriage license at city hall, I dressed with care. But by noon, he still hadn't shown up. Aurelia De Luca video-called me. "Sofia, where are you? Raphael's been waiting for you all day." Panic hit me. "Weren't we signing in Palermo?" Aurelia frowned. "It's Taormina, Sofia. Everyone's been waiting for a long time." I drove straight to Taormina. When I arrived, no one was there. When the video connected, Aurelia was crouched on the ground, laughing hard. "Sofia, don't tell me you actually went. We're already on Lipari. Raphael's setting up the wedding venue to surprise you." I left my car at the port and took a boat to Lipa

Vampire Lord's Rare Prisoner

Vampire Lord's Rare Prisoner

He makes his way to the table and tries to observe the map. It’s a well-made design for an old castle which was under an independent vampire not long ago. The structure is perfectly described, separating the main building and the dungeons. Several red crosses are drawn around the dungeon section which easily attracts a viewer’s attention. Oliver points in that area and says, “These are the cells.” “There are so many of these.” “Which states that the number of the captives is uncountable!”

Honestly I love this story so far and I just really love the story development and the characters are just so well thought of. So very good. The title, itself, is a hook. Getting into it, the character development is excellent. Hence a complete entertainer ...

The Prince and His Prisoner

The Prince and His Prisoner

the guard stated. Prince Aldridge nodded his head, "Open the cell and leave us." "My lord we cannot…" The guard started but stopped when he saw Prince Aldridge's glare. He unlocked the cell and handed Prince Aldridge the torch and walked away to mind his business. Prince Aldridge stepped in and walked towards the prisoner. He stopped in front of him and looked down at the man seated on the floor, he saw that although the man was locked up here, he seemed to be fit, maybe it was from his time as a knight?

The Lone Wolf

The Lone Wolf

Aaron responded curtly. “Yes! Your Majesty!” Marcus responded with a bow. “Send the spy to the throne room. He will be judged today,” Aaron said to the already retreating Marcus. “As you wish, Your Highness!” ****** The prisoner was clad in massive silver chains and led to the throne room. He was tossed to the floor like a rag. He crouched miserably on the ground, with guards on either side. He was battered and bruised and could barely move or even speak. He had been through tremendous torture.

The Howling Throne

The Howling Throne

“He knew.” Myrra leaned in. “Knew what?” “That this throne isn’t just a seat of power. It’s a prison.” Silence filled the chamber. Bram let out a slow breath. “So what happens when the prison breaks?” Elior’s expression darkened. “We’re about to find out.” As if in response, a deep tremor rumbled through the chamber. Dust cascaded from the ceiling, the obelisks shaking as unseen energy pulsed through the ruins. The torches flickered wildly before snuffing out, plunging them into darkness.

A Luna's Return: Her Return Will Lift The Curse

A Luna's Return: Her Return Will Lift The Curse

I left my chambers with heavy steps, my boots slamming against the marble floors as I made my way down the halls. Servants scattered like flies, lowering their heads in fear as I passed. Good. They should be afraid. I was in no mood to be trifled with. When I pushed open the grand doors of the throne room, Callen was already waiting by the steps of the dais. He straightened as I entered. “Alpha.” “Did you hear?” I growled. He nodded. “The news reached me on my way. I came immediately.” “Explain it,” I demanded, pacing in front of the throne. “How does a prisoner escape under our watch? Explain how a girl, one damn girl, slips into the most secure wing of this fortress and takes him right fro

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Throne had never been a weapon. It was a key. A lock. A shield. Then the horror attacked again. This time with both hands. BOOOOOOOOOOM! Reality screamed. The seal cracked further. The eye opened wider. Then Thomas felt it. The pressure. The burden. The weight of the prison. God. No. Fair. Absolutely not. Reasonable honestly. Then his knees nearly buckled. Immediately. The Throne was stronger than any Crown. But it demanded everything. Then Cassian stepped forward.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.
