Right There Waiting

Right There Waiting

"It does suit my tastes. They are all my favorites." "Great." - Soon, I was watching as Carl carefully cut into a lobster, savoring the succulent meat. While he worked, a lady in white went to the piano, her fingers dancing as she played 'Concerto pour une jeune fille'. The melodious piano, romantic interior design… and Carl Graham, the perfect prince under the chandelier. All of it looked like just a proposal planned meticulously—who the hell would go through such lengths for a business discussion? Even as I was left bemused, I cut straight to the chase.

Nothing is Forbidden, Right?

Nothing is Forbidden, Right?

Lex scoffed, broke the link of their arms. "I may have chosen to marry you out of helplessness but darling don't you ever assume you can have me wrapped around those perfectly manicured fingers of yours," The words dripped from his lips like venom, his smile equally deadly. To the rest of the room they could have been exchanging kind words but the two of them alone could comprehend the anger surging between them. "Drinks are over there." He gestured to a corner of the room where an open bar had been set up. "Don't be so sure," She paused, "darling.... once you've had what I have to offer, you may very well change your mind." She prophesized, her voice, eyes, and body language taking on a se

I just thought this story was wonderful! The interactions, conversations, personalities were just real, sweet, emotional and fun. Just enough tension to spice it up but nothing stupid in behavior or words. Well done! Loved it!
Kara Lynne Anderson
This was excellent. I enjoyed it and was relieved that the author didn't try to add in a plot twist that would have changed the personality the story built for each character. the characters were so relatable and the forbidden aspect made every encounter filled with all the right tension.

The Right Person

The Right Person

“Marriage between families is a serious matter. Even if Mr. Gregory already has someone he cares for, he’s still willing to sacrifice his happiness to marry you. “Please, stop putting on this attitude and accept it.” His tone sounded polite, but the disdain in his words echoed Connor’s. I had no interest in wasting my breath. Keeping my face expressionless, I refused to take the box. As the standoff dragged on, the fortune teller finished his reading. Stroking his beard, he announced, “Miss Starks and Mr. Liam are a match made in heaven. Their union will bring prosperity to both families.”

Dealing with Mr fucking right.

Dealing with Mr fucking right.

She took a flamethrower to everything I had built and smiled while it burned. My spare phone buzzed on the desk, it was an unknown number. I answered anyway. A distorted voice came through, calm and cold. “Mr. Pritchett. We understand you’re having some… difficulties. We specialize in solving problems like yours, permanently.” I froze. “Who is this?” “The kind of people who make inconvenient witnesses disappear. For the right price. Your wife has become very inconvenient.” My mouth went dry. “You’re offering…?” “We’re offering options. Think about it. We’ll be in touch.”

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

The Wrong Mate, The Right Alpha

“So we started hanging out at the bar after a day’s work. I didn’t even think they knew each other until I thought about how they vanished after that night.” “You said that night, they spoke about suppressing mate bones?” Marius cut in. Keaton nodded quickly. “Ye.. Yeah. My products are naturally just to suppress basal instincts. For instance, the normal instincts of crashing out at your boss or growling at a subordinate. You can get sued… So my products are pretty straight forward, you wear them and you’re on a middle level emotionally. You don’t have to worry… about stuff like that.” “He didn’t ask you about your products…” I snarled.
