My Monster

My Monster

I grin, moving to the sitting room. Our other roommate didn't come home tonight. I'd met her when I first moved in. She had seemed withdrawn and cold. Not exactly friendly. I didn't even get to know her name. Plopping down on the couch, I notice the thick novel lying beside me. It's the same one I'd seen with Danika earlier. I reach for it, picking it up. Then I flip it open. My heart stutters in my chest when I see the photo half hidden there.

Okay so I won't lie, I was tempted to stop reading at one point. I felt it was going slower than I like, and I didn't understand why this super strong tribrid was the way he was. BOY WAS I IN FOR IT. I'm glad I didn't stop reading. That twist was.. WOW. Was NOT expecting it. I enjoyed this story!
Katrina Hofstadter
I loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author and the next book of this saga. The author doesn't leave an question unanswered or unnecessarily drag the story out. The ability to keep the continuity of the story from beginning to end, was spot on. A great read!

Apartment of Horrors

Apartment of Horrors

My teammates hit me with a string of question marks when my hero stood idle and failed to hold the base. Frustrated, I quit the game and opened WhatsApp. The message was from Jacob Zeller, who lived downstairs from me. He was my roommate in college. There were four of us sharing a dorm, and we were pretty tight. While we were interning, we decided to job hunt together and moved into a cheaper apartment to lower our rent. Once everyone had a job, our hours were all over the place, so we each got an apartment to keep from getting in each other's way. We still grab a meal together from time to time.

Revenge For My Alpha: Sequel of Fated To The Alpha Twins

Revenge For My Alpha: Sequel of Fated To The Alpha Twins

The click of Lena’s dorm room door echoed quietly as she turned the knob and stepped inside, followed closely by Aiden. The room was dimly lit, soft golden light streaming in through the sheer white curtains fluttering gently by the open window. The scent of roses hung faintly in the air—a scent her roommate loved spraying on her bed and clothes. But right now, the room was blissfully empty. Her roommate had texted earlier that she wouldn’t be coming back tonight. She was spending the weekend with her boyfriend in his dorm room across campus.

Dating My Roommate's Split Personality Went Wrong

Dating My Roommate's Split Personality Went Wrong

"But have you actually considered whether your family can afford to rent you an apartment off-campus? Making your parents foot the bill over something this trivial is a bit unreasonable, don't you think?" I froze on the spot. My lips went white from biting down so hard. Without a word, I turned and walked out of the office. I felt utterly hopeless. Right outside the door, a tall, lean guy was leaning against the wall, seemingly lost in thought. The moment we crossed paths, he spoke up, "Hey, ever thought about getting a roommate? You look harmless enough. How about we share a place?" … "Back then, I brought Marshmallow back to campus, but she vanished again a few days later," I asked, lookin

Our stars Aligned

He noticed my expression and decided to discuss with me. "Ughh..it's about my apartment." He sighed annoyed looking at his phone with a hint of distress. "Um..What about it?" I asked swiftly but I tried my best not took look like I am prying. "My roommate, He just moved out, I am searching for a decent roommate but this city is filled with weirdos... You know?" He said looking slightly annoyed. "Yeah... Tell me about it!" I said reminiscent of the good old days with my roomie.

I Want To Be Human

I Want To Be Human

Is he waiting for my middle name as well? “What!?” I ask. “I asked you two questions but toh only answered one. Anyways, what’s your connection with the victim.” He bawls and shows little signs that he is pissed off. “Oh okay. Harley and I are friends and roommates.” I explain and sigh, licking my lips after speaking. I drag my right hand. To my nose and rub on it as I try to hold back my running nose. “Oh really, so you both live together then?“ I don’t get this. I just explained to him that she is my friend and roommate and he is still asking me if we live together. Is there an arbitral meaning to the word roommate?

My (Delicious) Roommate

My (Delicious) Roommate

"I told you earlier that they have always been more her friends than mine. And not because I don't like them, but because the ages are different and we have different ideas of what recreation, fun, is." "I see." "Last month, Alexandra told me that she was advertising for a roommate position in her apartment. That she needed someone to talk to, that she was feeling a little lonely. I guess her friends were more distractions than anything else.... And that she needed someone who really understood her. Someone besides me." Emanuele nods and drinks a glass of water while Joshua takes a breath to continue the explanation.

just another roomie

just another roomie

"That little spoiled spawn of Satan! I swear we are all going to school tomorrow and her parents better be there! My niece is the prettiest girl on this planet!" You see? This is why I loved all my girls so much. We were always there for each other and when one of us had a problem it was like we all had a problem. And when someone insulated one of our kids, you got 4 pissed mothers on your back, not just one. So it was best for you not to mess with any of us or our kids. You see, once upon a time I was just a roomie, but I had no idea that the roommate agreement would lead to the best version of my life possible.

The Supervisor Came To My Bed Again

The Supervisor Came To My Bed Again

“No, that’s because you’re too competitive. I heard the sound of flipping pages.” I continued, “Since I couldn’t sleep, I started to read so that I could fall asleep again.” Our two roommates stared disapprovingly at Jane. One of them said, “Can you send me the link? I don’t want to be frightened in the middle of the night.” The other roommate said, “Me too! Me too!” Jane’s expression darkened as she watched all three of us switch to privacy curtains. Of course, the curtains themselves would not be able to stop her.

Jenny & Jay - Volume 2

Jenny & Jay - Volume 2

I asked. “Let’s see...” my roommate thought for a moment. ”There’s us, the med school, the law school, the teachers’ college, the culinary institute, and some kind of arts academy that’s supposed to be tiny and super elite. The park’s a great place to meet people,” he added with a grin. “Yeah,” I nodded. ”I saw someone there today too. But I didn’t have the nerve to say anything,” I laughed. — I kept up my habit from last year—reading through the day’s material every evening—so it wasn’t overwhelming. I knew I had a class with Uncle Steve midweek, but I was still surprised when I came back from swimming and found my roommates studying like mad.
