For the garden party they had today to celebrate Kevin's latest business venture; Rose was trying on an off-white, knee-length dress. The dress had fit her body perfectly just a few days ago but now it was refusing to zip up. Being frustrated, Rose left it unzipped and sat on the edge of the bed with a deep sigh. Rose did not realise when her eyes teared up though there was no proper reason. She felt even more annoyed with herself but she could not help it at all.

Unfortunately, Feria caught it. Rose stopped just before the bedpost. She had an apology all planned out to deliver to Grim but now that she was in front of him, the words got stuck in her throat. She finally managed to snuggle two words out. “I'm sorry.“ Her feeble voice was just loud enough to carry the message to grim. Grim cleared his throat. “I didn't expect this from you. I never would have thought you would have acted the way you did,”” He paused letting suspense brew. “And as such I'm going to reward you.”

Rose wailed, hid her face in her hands and kept sobbing. “Hey, hey, hey! I am sorry. I am sorry. I didn’t think and just acted. It was just an impulse. I am sorry. Please stop crying,” begged Emerson. Rose wiped her tears and looked at Emerson. “What? What will happen to all of them?” she asked. “Who?” Emerson didn’t understand her question. “Those assholes who wanted to… the words they said… it was… Well, what are you guys going to do to them?” asked Rose, hesitantly.

A looked crossed his eyes,but it went away as quickly as it came, and soon he was looking at me amused again. "Of course, I didn't anticipate finding raunchy books in a sweet girl's bag, you're definitely right. Noted, I'm never doing that again." I scowled and he smirked. "So Rosie?" He asked, I couldn't help it, I rolled my eyes at that, rubbing at my temples. "No, my name's Rosette, not Rosie. That's childish." "Okay, so Rose. Well that's a pretty name for a very pretty girl, as cliché as it sounds, it's the truth, you're a pretty little flower." And the blush that was barely receding was back again.

Rosaline clutched the phone tightly in her hands and finally a strangled sob escaped her lips. "S-Sorry." Her breathing turned ragged and her heart turned heavy with remorse. She finally broke down. "I am sorry, I am so sorry.. *sob*.. I didn't meant to*sob*...Don't think...d-don't think I..I c-chea*sob*...I cheat-" Rosaline couldn't gather herself to say that word as if a load was placed on her tongue. That mere word was now constricting her heart brutally. She was now loathing herself. She placed a palm over her mouth and sobbed like a child.

Why? William pinched the flesh between his eyes. “I’m sorry, Rose. I’m so sorry. It’s my fault for not realizing my feelings for you right away. It’s only normal for you to feel that way about me.
