I don't have friends - I am not sure if that is something that I should be proud of. Well, it's not like I don't try to approach my classmates or try to interact. It’s just that I have a weird smile. No, it's not the type of smile that involves weird and rotten teeth - I have perfectly white and straight teeth. You see, my smile is fatal and dangerous. Just one look at these weapons and even the ferocious growl of a mountain lion would seem harmless. If this were a comic, I would call this attack: The Killer Smile.

“Look, Ellen, it’s my favorite place in this house,” she says to him while indicating her hand toward a table. “Oh, I have no idea that a table can be a favorite to someone!” He starts to laugh at her, but she rolls her eyes. “Don’t you have any favorite places at your husband’s house?” he gently asks her. “No, I have not,” she says while having a confident smile on her face. Ellen let out a sad chuckle and shifts his gaze from her to somewhere else with a not-so-happy face. “Yeah, why she even likes that house, but I know that my poor heart is aching at her honest opinion.” He has a big mansion where she usually stays, but what this small house has his mansion doesn’t possess: happiness! S

Their smile, is what matters her the most. Keeping herself busy, with the material arts training or either by school work, she only gets alone time at night. When the moment, she hits the bed, for quite sometime her brain process what happened all day long. ZouMi bitterly smiles, every night, remembering the genuine smile of her family, while she replies with a realistic-fake one.

Liam said, a slow smile spreading across his face. Mrs. Smith's eyes widened in shock. "Great," Ava said, beaming. Liam turned to Mrs. Smith, his expression innocent. "Wait, you said the Smith's family does business with Hamilton's Holding. Which Smith family is that?" Mrs. Smith's face darkened. "I can't believe there are people who don't know the big Smith group." Liam's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Who are you to question me?" Mrs. Smith demanded. Liam's grin grew wider. "What am I up to? Just thinking about a big wedding gift for my wife."

He smiled at Mom, that polite, man smile that hid the monster underneath. "He’s right, Sarah," Chad said softly. "It’s a very interesting house indeed."

"Say 'uncle', un-cle—un-cle—" Helma turned away, her eyes sweeping the room. The genuine smiles on her mom's and brother's faces, the upcoming wedding—it all filled the room with warmth. A smile spread across Helma's face too. With Smiley’s addition to the family, the year had turned out pretty great after all.

I narrowed my eyes and pulled the door open. "You were right on time,” I said and smiled at him. He looked over my shoulder, his brows raising. "The new housekeeper,” I answered his silent question. I looked back at the girl who was cleaning up my untouched breakfast. “I don't trust her. I don't trust people who smile too much,” I complained as I closed the door. "You smile too much too,” Luis replied with a raised brow. “I know, that's why I'm saying I don't trust her. Most of those smiles are fake!"

I stretch out our arms, tugging on his hand with a playful smile on my face. “Don’t be grumpy, Julian Adams... Your children have a sweet tooth.” He smiles and gives in, walking towards me without letting go of my hand. “That’s not fair.” “Babies, you have such a doting daddy.” “Stop it.” He grumbles, still with a chuckle on his lips. I can’t help but laugh happily. My chest is so warm that I forget, for a moment, the bad feeling that Mrs. Smith’s words brought.

Justin gazed at the woman sleeping in his arms, and a smile crept onto his face without him even realizing it. "Thank goodness you won!” That tiny smile turned the whole arena upside down. The eight big families started whispering among themselves, "What's going on? Did Mr. Smith just smile?" "Quick, find the finest jewel throughout the lands! I want to give it to the future queen!" Even the butler, who had been with Justin for more than twenty years, kept touching his little mustache. His eyes narrowed, he said with a sigh, "Mr. Smith hasn't looked this happy in ages."

He leaned in closer and whispered, “Smile.” She shut her eyes tightly, biting down on her lip. Slowly and painfully, her mouth curved upward into a forced smile. The screaming flowers went silent. She opened her eyes horrified and whispered, “No.” Her father's voice dripped with manipulation. “Yes. Even false smiles hold power. The world doesn’t care if you’re hurting inside; it only wants to see your teeth.” She stumbled backward, clutching her chest while her lips quivered against their will, trying not to frown—the smile felt like it was locked in place.
