The Steel Man Novels & Stories

He folds his thick arms across his chest, making his dark shirt strain amongst his biceps. I look away, digging my nails into the palm of hand. The TV has nothing on what the real Camden Steel looks like. He's his own person. I can't help but look back at him. Sharp around the edges, but beautiful. He has small scars that show his pain, and power dusting around his thick eyebrows and cheek bones. "Why are you here?" His words are bitter, cutting me. Looking at the ground I advert my eyes from his. His intense stare too much.

Guston who was among the men turned to look at him and said; " big bro, you should join us. " The man glanced side ways at him. Guston shrank his neck as he was about to tell him it was fine if he didn't want to. But just then the man got up and went close to the table. Those watching were dumbfounded, as Mr Acosta isn't someone who would usually play this kind of games. It seems he's in a good mood today, some thought. Even Guston was astonished to see his big bro participate in this kind of game for the first time in two years.

He pulled away and turned towards his friend who stood smiling at them. "Sorry, but I just wanted to see the beauty you can't stop talking about." Lucas exclaimed before moving to the side so he could see the woman that had stolen his best friends heart. To his surprise the person wasn't a woman at all, she looked like a kid. He frowned as he stared at his friend as if asking what the fuck is this? Not wanting to be an asshole to the poor girl who was red like a tomato he walked further into the office and closed the door behind him.

Justin, together with Arnold and Philip, arrived at the construction site early in the morning to find Lam already leading the cleaning of the debris and clutter from yesterday. "Mr. Chairman, the Steel entourage is here" Everyone turned to the entrance to find Luther and Timothy Steel. The men exchanged pleasantries amidst the rising tension. "This is the first mishap under the Steel command" Luther Steel grimly mutters as his gaze scans the damage with a clenched jaw. "I will not be taking this lightly" he added before his piercing gaze turned to Justin and averted to Lam who met it with the same intensity. "I brought my people to lead this project. I won't be accepting any more mishaps. T

But the flames flickered once and went out. The others were the same. None of their abilities would activate at all. Ray revealed a cold, cruel smile. With a casual wave of his hand, five steel rebars materialized in midair. They slowly adjusted their angles before shooting forward like lightning. Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Five wet, disturbing impacts rang out, accompanied by the sound of tearing flesh and shattering organs. Each steel rod entered one man from below, piercing up through the body—some bursting out through mouths, others through eye sockets, and one even split the skull clean open.

the body behind me rattled “he m-m-made it l-like that.” Steel tried to smile at me when I turned to him. He had all of his arms chopped off, the hooks skewering the stumps that remained. To his left was Axel, and to his right was Lee. “How the hell….?” “He tracked them all down” Flame spoke, standing on Steel’s log “people you know, people you passed in the street, even people who had brief conversation with.” He tilted his head over to the left, where I saw Lag, Strangles, and Gerald.

Thick steel bars descended over the windows and doors, and the number of guards doubled. A man dressed in ornate steel armor marched back and forth in front of the assembled group of chainmail and pikes, "The time has come to show the people of this fine city how much we care. You have trained until you heaved your guts and then trained some more. All of you are heroes just for showing up. Worry not about your loved ones, I will see to it they are cared for should you fall." He drew his sword, "We shall win the or my name isn't Tiberius Steel," He pumped his fist and the men cheered for their leader.

He smirked and lit the cigarette between his hands. "I think yes," he said. Walking towards me. I didn't move a bit, there is no reason to do that. I am not scared nor intimidated by this guy. I am Steel, no one can ever scare me. "Come with me peacefully or do you want me to knock you down first?" I asked. His eyebrows met but smile right after getting what I meant. Did the dude can clearly see what my intention is. "I think everyone is trying to look for me, I wonder what they need. Do you have the same intentions?" He still asked what he was sure about.

“With a punch like that, I'd say Strike or Striker.” “Yeah, I like that. We haven’t had a Striker in a while,” Steel says, turning to grin at Yorick. “Striker it is.” “I can guess how you got a name like Raptor, but how did you get Steel?” I ask him. “I took five bullets and still didn’t go down,” he says proudly. “Five silver bullets and Steel is short for Man of Steel. Superman was too long, so it got shortened to Steel,” Raptor says, obviously proud of his mentor.

What can you even expect from an old man who depends on his descendants for blood? "Henry, don't get yourself all worked up. Calm down." "You're dying, and you expect me to stay calm? You can't keep going back and forth at this point. "You have to make a decision and get Skylar on board too. The two of you have billions of dollars between you. That's enough to protect yourselves, isn't it? "You want me to calm down? Fine. I'll do just that. But there's no way I'm giving up my money to that old geezer! You have to make a choice now. Me or that old man."
