The Teacher's Obsession

The Teacher's Obsession

The little girl was very glad to get what she was searching for. Lexa went through the page that explained how to hide any scent, but the process was somehow strange to her, and she checked the book again to make sure she picked the right one. Is this book a joke or what? She questioned herself inwardly and shook her head. Lexa continued to read the page, but it was kind of difficult for her, cause she had no opportunity to get educated. The only way she got to know how to read was through her friends and some little teachings she did for herself.

My Special Pet

My Special Pet

Allie adjusted her wedding dress and said excitedly, "The wedding is next week. Are you sure you can be my maid of honor?" I thought about it and replied uncertainly, "I'm not sure whether I can take time off." Then I poured out all the strange things happening at work, ending with a sigh. "The Alaskan Malamute I take care of seems off somehow. Do you think I should take him to a vet?" At some point, Allie stopped what she was doing and stared at me blankly. "Kelsey, what kind of job did you just say you were doing?" "I'm a pet sitter. You told me to apply for it at the pet shop. Don't you remember?" I said as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"Been there, done that." But then, why was I still staring at the section with such interest? Maybe because I haven't been horizontal in a while or was it the thought that I won't be for a long while to come? Whatever the reason, I was still staring transfixed at the cover of the closest book in my line of sight. A picture of the curve of a woman's back in a red hue titled The Devil's my New Teacher by Ms. OG. I picked up the book and added it to the pile in my hand. Oh well.

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

The Kindergarten Teacher Who Doesn’t Exist

The Kindergarten Teacher Who Doesn’t Exist

Young, I am so sorry about all this, but I can promise you none of our teachers have ever mentioned anything about a cat-faced old lady. Now that was strange. Could it have been something the other kids said? I looked at Justin with a serious face and asked, “Sweetie, think carefully. Did you see this cat-faced Miss Never in a dream? Or was it another kid trying to scare you?” Justin shot back, his voice steady and earnest. “Mom, I am not dumb. I know the difference between a dream and real life.” “This afternoon, when Ms. Zinn put on a Doraemon cartoon for us, Miss Never sat right there with us. She even taught us how to make a Bamboo-copter.”

The Don's Pet: Breaking Out of His Billion-Dollar Cage

The Don's Pet: Breaking Out of His Billion-Dollar Cage

I didn't want to respond, but my anger was boiling. Since I had nothing left, why should I be afraid? Chuckling to myself, I typed out a response underneath the post. "All families should hire Elena as their Consigliere. After all, she boldly controls the Donna's personal freedom and expertly exerts her authority by making the most of her power of approval. Please, once you've gotten my position, try to maintain that same 'fairness' for yourself." After sending it, a little of the weight in my chest lifted.

The Rebel has Feelings Too

The Rebel has Feelings Too

Nathan's PoV Monday 14th January 2019 ********************************** I type furiously on my computer to send a quick email before my first lesson of the day starts. I hear the door open and glance up, hoping to see Cole but unfortunately, it's Miss Willow. Miss Willow, or Natalie, is the teacher who has been flirting with me relentlessly since I started working here. She leans against me in meetings and tends to hold onto my arm like we're together, but I won't push her off because I don't want to look like an asshole.

The Mafia Lord’s Pet

The Mafia Lord’s Pet

He smiled as he pinched my nipple, eliciting a moan out of my parted lips and juice out of my slutty cunt. My stomach churned in the most beautiful way as butterflies flew in my stomach and along with that, Enzo patted my head like I was some sort of a pet. I am a pet. His Pet. His Slut. “I wasn’t expecting you to be able to move with your legs wobbly like that, little slut,” He said, his voice gruff as he lifted me off the bed and began making his way to the bathroom. “You’ve been a good girl for Daddy.”

Fractured

Fractured

Mr Collins instructs after he's finished his angry typing. “Reading what?” I ask. “That,” he points to a book that's on the couch where Theo had been sitting moments before. “What the…” I start to ask, then shake my head, “Right away, Professor Dumbledor,” I snark, picking up the book as he leaves the office. The book looks like a modern school textbook, but the title, ‘The Spark’ has me turning to the first page eagerly to finally get some freaking answers!

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I know this has been touched on so I guess I'm just not getting it. I just finished chapter 367 and I don't know if I should expect more (or when). I kinda feel like I'm left hanging with Harper not having all of her bonds together. btw love the book!

Throne of Wolves

Throne of Wolves

But my favorite rumor is that I’m trying to steal Bryat away from his mate because I’m so desperate and no other guy will go out with me. Like that’s even possible. Bryat is attractive and all, but I’m not a monster. I’m not jealous of him or his mate. The rumors are ridiculous if you ask me. Oh wait… no one is asking me. They’re just making things up. I sigh and try to listen to my teacher. He’s an old, hairy man who’s part of our pack. “Turn your textbooks to page 483,” he says. Pages begin flipping and quiet chatter fills the room.

Prince Damien's Pet

Prince Damien's Pet

I flinched, Mother's hand instinctively reaching for me, shielding me like a lioness guarding her young. The guard smirked, slapping his baton against the bars once more, his voice dripping with scorn. "The royal court is ready to judge you... traitors." The iron door of the cage screeched open, and rough hands pulled Mother and me to our feet, shackling our wrists with cold, unyielding chains. The clinking metal reverberated in the hollow silence, heavy and foreboding. I stole a glance at Mother, whose face was a mask of determination, every line etched with an unspoken promise of survival.
