Damien Teaching my Pet was a pleasure. She was an attentive learner. She grasped new concepts quickly. And something about spending time with her, a book open between us, felt nostalgic. I didn't remember why. But I enjoyed it. So I decided to start teaching her immediately. I dropped my Pet off in the kitchens with instructions for them to put her to work. "Oh, so there it is," the Librarian said, gently taking the book from Roxie. "It's a book about rogue wolves. I've been looking for it for a while," she explained.

It was the best kind of job for me, I loved it and I got paid weekly, enough to eat, after my first paycheck, I had spent a full week starving, I tried to ask for my money beforehand but my boss who’s the meanest person ever, said no. I loved school and the teachers loved me. Call me a nerd, a geek, a dill weed or whatever you would want to call it but I didn't care. I am proud to be a teacher's pet. I was never afraid to flaunt my shiny gleaming A's and clean flawless record. Yes, better believe it. I had never ever done anything wrong.
