She slowly looked at Bella with fearful eyes that had her going red. ‘Rob said that nobody is to talk to Bella and anyone that does will be killed on site.’ She stated as she lowered the phone a little bit. Everyone looked at her with furrowed brows as they tried to figure out what was happening. ‘Rob said that if anyone causes anymore problems the deal is off and instead of making us elites he will kill us all in an instance.’ She whispered in fear. I stiffened at her words. Make them elites? I grabbed my tablet and searched for any news of the formula being recreated.

“And I’m the only person in this room who Michael Blackwood is actually afraid of.” Zander narrowed his eyes. “You’ve been in reclusive retirement for fifteen years, Elena. Why come out now? To watch the world burn?” “I came out because Michael Blackwood had the audacity to send me a bouquet of lilies last week,” Elena said, her voice dropping to a dangerous octave. “He thought I was senile enough to accept an ‘honorary board position’ in exchange for my silence on the Omen protocols.
