The Veiled Throne Mga Nobela at Kwento

ELENA The Grand Throne Room of the Northern Citadel was a breathless ocean of crimson silk, polished steel, and suffocating supernatural tension. I stood at the base of the massive marble dais, my long chestnut hair pinned back into an intricate crown of braids that exposed the dark purple marking bruises Kaelen had ruthlessly stamped into my neck during our frantic, morning bedroom encounter. The coronation gown was a masterpiece of lethal elegance—woven from a hyper-rare silver-armor thread that hugged my curves like a second skin, the metallic fabric shimmering with a blinding light that caught the reflections of a thousand crystal chandeliers. The sheer sleeves exposed the faint, golden

“The council is ready.” Seraphine closed her eyes briefly. Then she turned. Inside the throne hall, a long stone table stretched across the chamber. Torches burned along the walls, their flames flickering across ancient banners that represented each race. At the head of the hall stood the throne. It had not existed before the war. The throne had been carved from the black crystal that remained after the Veil nearly shattered. Veins of silver light pulsed through the stone like a living heartbeat. It was not just a seat of power.

The throne appeared in the middle of the broken universe. It wasn’t made of gold. It wasn’t made of darkness. It was made of everything. Stars were woven into its arms. Shadows crawled across its back. Ancient symbols moved across the seat as if the throne itself were alive. Lucian stared at it. “What is that?” The First King answered calmly. “The throne of the First Blood.” Amara tightened her grip on Lucian’s hand. “And why did it appear?” The King looked toward her stomach.

But in the eyes of Daemon and his mother, I was nothing more than a disposable shield. The alcohol surged through me, and I was done being patient. I lifted my head to meet her gaze and said, word by word, "Get Daemon down here." Elena's face went pale with rage, the crucifix on her chest rising and falling violently. "Incorrigible! I see you're drunk and need to be taught a lesson!" She waved a hand at the bodyguards behind her. "Take her to the family chapel." "Make her kneel before the Virgin Mary and repent until she understands what it means to be a Thorne!"

And there it stood. The Blood Throne. It was carved from obsidian, veins of red crystal pulsing through it like a beating heart. The floor was cracked around it, as though the throne had erupted from the earth. Before it knelt a man. Or what was left of one. He was bone and ash wrapped in black robes. His hair was silver, his skin like charred marble. He did not look up—he only whispered in a language none of them understood. Aelin whimpered. “He’s trying to bind to me. To make me sit.”

And they were walking straight into it. The throne itself rose from the center of the Vale, carved from obsidian and bone, crowned with flame that never flickered. It pulsed with ancient magic, the kind that didn’t ask permission. Aria felt it in her chest, pressing against the unborn flame inside her. Luna stopped walking. “He’s here,” she said. Kaelion nodded. “Then we finish this.”

The staircase climbed impossibly high into the darkness. Leading nowhere. Or perhaps somewhere far beyond the world. At the very top stood a throne. The throne from my vision. The Throne of Stars. The throne hidden beneath the kingdom. The throne every ancient power was searching for. And seated upon it was a figure. Motionless. Silent. Wrapped in chains made of silver fire. A prisoner. Still asleep. Still bound. Yet somehow more terrifying than anything we had seen so far. The golden eyes immediately focused on it. The thirteen fortresses turned toward it.

The Castle of the Veil, also known as the Veil Warden Academy, is a beautiful place, which is completely opposite to everything we’ve been taught our entire lives. It’s styled and decorated in the Renaissance era, and the courtyards are beautifully kept sitting areas. The entire vibe of the place is live and let live but respect each other. What in the feck is wrong with that? Why all the stories? Nothing I was taught from kindergarten to graduation is true. Why did they feel they needed to play all the cloak and dagger games? I am so confused but mostly, I’m angry as hell about losing my mate.

Nonetheless, the bright full moon at the sky served enough to illuminate the grounds and other objects inside from the open windows. Likewise, the figure of a lady seated on an extravagant, intricately chiseled and decorated throne glows bright as two tall windows flash light on her like converging spotlights. The rear of her fingers altogether supported her tilted head while her other arm rests at her lap. Few meters away from her, a young man stands still, staring directly at her, awaiting the movement she will take. It is Tristan, that child she has been watching over since the first day of their meeting.

Soon, the groom had gotten to the front with Eliot standing behind him as his best man. The bridal theme song started and I could feel the atmosphere in the entire room change. Elvira walked in, looking more beautiful than I had ever seen any other bride look in their gown. She was heavenly and just as the door opened to usher her in, white rose petals from the floor fell down slowly from the roof.
