I demanded, my voice stronger than I felt. The Keeper studied me with something that might have been pity. “You know the answer,” he said softly. “You have always known.” A name whispered through my mind, chilling my blood. Ravik. The name meant nothing to me now, but the fear it sent through my veins was ancient. Instinctual. The Keeper’s expression darkened. “He was once a Guardian, like you. Like the woman in your vision. But he sought to control the balance, not preserve it. And when he failed… he was cast into the void.”

The Raven looked toward Leonardo. For several long seconds, he said nothing. Finally… He answered. “The First Keeper.” ⸻ Leonardo slowly turned his head. Every movement was unnaturally calm. His eyes settled on the Raven. “Report.” The voice wasn’t cold. It wasn’t angry. It simply carried absolute authority. The Raven instinctively lowered his head. A habit he thought he had buried years ago. “The Last Keeper has entered the Sanctuary.” Leonardo nodded once. “Good.” “And the Key?”

Kenny muttered, his fingers twitching in hers. “Trace the boundary, Kenny. Don't push against the world, just remind the world that you have a border. Eyeing them all like they were obstacles he intended to overcome. “Harbinger?” Almora said with wide eyes. “What is that?” “The law in Enuchte.” He gave her a sharp look. “They serve as the enforcers to press the law on all others residing in our realms.”

, commanded the guardian. “Copy your majesty”, said Adam. “Bring the first protector with you” commanded Kris using her mind. “How about Kur, your Majesty”, asked Adam. “Leave him here, he is too big, he will catch the attention of the enemies”, Kris answered. “Noted your majesty”, said Adam. “Also, bring Iridessa with you, she is responsible in communicating the mother water fairy”, she added. “Are they not captured yet?”, asked Adam. “Not all of them, the mother water fairy was still there, hiding, we need her stones for the upcoming battle”, answered Kris.

When I just stared at her blankly, her expression soured. "Don't play dumb. Give me the motion sickness pills." That was when I remembered that Celine got severely airsick. I used to always carry her medication on me, just in case she needed it. But after she tossed me into the water like I was nothing, still going out of my way for her would just be pathetic. With a sigh, Frankie picked up and tossed a stone into the water. The ripples entranced her. Ripples! Her eyes widened. She knew how to draw Aiden out. It was guaranteed. She just needed to throw the right stone to do it, and now she knew which one she needed to toss into the water.

The rain streaked the windows like prison bars. The car tore down the highway, red and blue lights flashing behind us. I held Leo tight, covering his ears to block out the sounds of gunfire and screeching tires. “Don’t be afraid, Clara.” Rocco reloaded his gun, then glanced back at me, a twisted, reassuring smile on his face. “The boat is ready.
