Wrenched

Wrenched

"Well I just resigned. What other solution can you give to a jobless person about to lose her sanity?" He chuckled. "You're not about to lose your sanity, Theresa. What you're going through and what you're feeling is simply because you think it's too much to handle. You see, when I was younger, my coach told me that without the winning mentality, I assure you, you can't win. He was so explicit, I began to think he thought I was a failure. But he was simply helping me find it somewhere up here." He motioned to his head. "The mentality that I could win and get into the team." "Did you?"

The Divorced Billionaire Heiress

The Divorced Billionaire Heiress

After all, the pressure of bringing another person along and the decision of staking it all in one move were two opposite states. The staff paused before shaking his head modestly. “No, no matter how many people there are, you will still win.” It was not that they lost to the champion, but that the driverless car lost to human will. ......

Jasmine Frost
I love that she doesn’t get back with Eric. If this was real life no one would want to get back with their ex if they were constantly ignored by the husband and mistreated by the family. Eric was an effing creep and a stalker. Why should she get back with him

I have read a lot of webnovels and this is still my favorite. I love that both male leads are complex character. Clayton was not made to be a perfect polished character vs Eric’s mistakes. This was a great flip on Billionaire romance Nicole is the billionaire lead with two men vying for her love.

Dearest Princess

Dearest Princess

The man swallowed nervously. "I've already won three rounds. Can I go now?" Remiel replied regretfully, "If you win, I have to leave. What happens to my dignity then?" The man was on the verge of tears. "How much longer do we have to keep gambling?" Remiel said calmly, "We'll keep gambling until I win." The man's face turned pale in an instant. Losing meant death unless he could keep winning indefinitely. However, that was impossible.

The Ex-Wife Revenge Plan.

The Ex-Wife Revenge Plan.

“We’re with you. We’ll continue to gather evidence and build our case. This isn’t just your fight, Kylie—it’s ours. And we’re not going to let them take Bhutan from you.” I took a breath of air and looked out at the horizon. The building's glass facade sparkled like the sky above it, and there was this tremendous pressure mounting within me at that point. "I have to win," I said to myself. "If I don't win, I lose everything—my company, my reputation, and everyone else's future that's at stake because of us."

For as long as it took. Because it was never truly over. But that did not mean we had lost. It meant we had to keep winning. Every single day.

His to Keep

His to Keep

“But still distracted.” Nikolai exhaled sharply. “I’m not distracted.” “You’re here,” his uncle replied. “But not completely.” That was the problem. Nikolai reset his stance again, jaw tightening. “I won the round.” “This isn’t about winning.” A pause. “It’s about control.” Control. He had it. He always had it. “Then control yourself,” his uncle continued. “Because when you hesitate out there—” he gestured vaguely, meaning more than just the training room “—it won’t be a missed strike. It’ll be a mistake you don’t recover from.”

The Billionaire's Sinful Affair

The Billionaire's Sinful Affair

"People like me achieve excellence because we're driven to win at all costs." Emmeline's eyebrows drew together, prompting him to elaborate. "When someone works primarily for their own satisfaction, they push themselves to achieve perfection," he continued, arranging his documents. "It's actually beneficial that I see your case as a competition—it ensures I'll fight with everything I have. Why should you care whether I want to win for your sake or my own, as long as you get the outcome you deserve?" Though his perspective seemed callous, Emmeline found she could understand his pragmatic logic.

The Villainess With No Happy Endings

The Villainess With No Happy Endings

I didn’t know how her expression was and I didn’t allow myself to imagine it either. I went back to looking through my black book, more determined with my reading. I am not allowed to lose in this competition. I am going to be the winner no matter what. That's all that matters…. During the three days, I was forcing myself to combine the magic that I learned in different ways. I had to be perfect in both my defense and offensive so that no one will be able to defeat. I wasn’t able to look at Mae during these three days but once I win everything will be better for me. It will be fine. I am fine.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Mr. Thatcher, let's try one more race. Everyone knows you're the best at horse racing in Jayrodale." "That's right," Harvey and his group chimed in. "A couple of races doesn’t mean anything. Please lead us to victory again, Mr. Thatcher!" Encouraged by their support, Mark laughed heartily. "Very well, I'll join you for one more match. Victory comes to those who persevere!" "Such inspiring words!" "With this spirit, victory is certain!" "Nothing could stop Mr. Thatcher this time!" The crowd cheered and applauded enthusiastically. It was as though they were trying to erase the memory of their two consecutive losses through sheer volume alone.

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

Right. "What's all this?. All this obsession with winning and fighting?. About 15 people have come and said the same thing to me! What's the point? We've lost already. She can't be contained, I know my sister, she's strong on her own. In her current state, I don't think she's going to let anyone even come close to her. ....We've lost.
