I came close to Eric just to enter the palace and kill the king and now when Xavier could bring me so close to the palace,to the king I just can't take my revenge. I need to leave and take my revenge as Ezra and not as Xavier's mate. Right now Xavier is busy with his meeting 5 guards are guarding my room I have tied the bedsheets together and tied them near the window. Slowly I descended and once I jumped from the tied bedsheets my body landed with a jerk sending sharp pain to my wounded thigh. I made my way out of his territory making sure that no one saw me. I was few feet away from his territory when I heard loud growls of a wolf

As I fingered through the book, with no title, words began to glow and singed onto the worn parchment like magic. Inanna had stirred and I could feel the Lycan blood in me shift, each drop moving and flowing like lava through my veins and my eyes lit up like beacons absorbing the words from the page. It startled me and I dropped the book to the floor. As the thud of the heavy leather hit the floor and echoed throughout the endless room, books started flying off the shelves, pages fluttering towards me in a whirl of turbulence, surrounding me like a twister.

Raymond's head was tilted upward, gazing at the dark sky with its twinkling stars. Ravi gazed at Raymond's outstretched wings, which slowly flapped with soft feathers dancing in the biting morning breeze. The black feathers of Raymond's wings were as dark as the night sky, and something stirred in Ravi's chest as he watched those wings, as if he was living in a fantasy tale he had once read. Ravi was captivated when Raymond turned and descended from the window, his eyes widening as he locked eyes with Ravi.

In each mountain peak she passed through, she rubbed slightly against them, causing fire to erupt and consume the whole mountain. Karen flew down the moment they landed on Strawberry Mountain. She turned around to look at the endless trees, grasses, and small rocks, an evil grin plastered across her face. She sighed heavily, causing smoke to come out of her burning throat, chocking Kelvin and Patrilia, who had collapsed on the ground and were writhing in pain. When Karen landed, she didn't bother docking down a little bit to let them jump off her wings; rather, she shook her wings and threw them away with full force.

Addison has been researching ancient spell books lately and even spending a few days in the Witch Queen's territory saying she is working on something. She wouldn't say what it was so we could help her and just said, "It was a private matter." I had to mind-link my assistant and ask if things were ready for my date with Allison and she said everything was in order, so I got up and left the office to go and change. I arrived home and saw my clothes laid out on the bed and heard a noise in my closet, I went in to see my sister going through my things and she turned around and screamed, nearly jumping out the window in freight. Her wings appeared as a way for her to fly away from the enemy. She

Sienna’s POV I’m running through a cloud of darkness. I can’t see anything, but I keep going, searching for a way out. My feet hit the ground hard, the sound echoing like I’m trapped in some endless void. My chest is tight, my breath short. Then suddenly, I see something ahead, a faint outline, maybe a doorway. I rush toward it and stumble into what looks like a garage.

I answered, holding her until the silver mark on her wrist flared again. Ashina’s voice cut through the courtyard before my sister could answer. “If you want the first book, Daciana, then follow me before Father takes the child and closes every door.” Every wolf went still. Adolphus’s blood smoke recoiled slightly, and that told me more than any promise Ashina could have made. The first Blood Feather book mattered. Maybe it mattered enough to make fear honest. (Ashina POV) I ran through Blackfang’s lower passage with Daciana behind me, and every step felt like walking deeper into the mouth of my own grave.

*** Its burning gaze locked onto Raven. *** “Bridge,” it said again. *** Raven stepped forward. *** But this time— something inside her answered differently. *** ### The Awakening The mark on her wrist burned. Not warm. Not controlled. *** *Hungry.* *** Raven inhaled sharply. *** The battlefield shifted. *** The shadows did not rise. *** The sky did. *** A single crow cried out overhead. Then another. Then— hundreds. *** They came from nowhere. From everywhere. Black wings cutting across the sky, circling above the battlefield in a tightening spiral.

Her skin was cold, and her breathing faint, but it was the darkness in her eyes that terrified him the most. For the first time, something within him stirred—a deep, primal instinct. He had never unleashed his wings before, not fully, but now they sprang from his back with a force that shocked even him. The black wings unfurled, stretching wide, their edges glowing faintly with an unearthly light. He had never flown properly before, had never trusted himself to soar, but there was no time for doubt.

As his words fell, a powerful, terrifying roar reverberated in the distance. A violent sound, full of rage, tore through the air. It seemed an even more fearsome beast was approaching. Adrian's eyes gleamed coldly as he sensed the change. From the distant horizon, a massive creature emerged from the void. It was an ancient beast—a bird, to be precise. Adrian's eyes widened in surprise. He hadn't expected it to be an ancient beast, let alone one as powerful as the Red Feather Divine Bird. The bird's greatest strength lay in its wings, forged from mystic iron. A single blow from those wings could inflict excruciating pain and even shatter the body of anyone struck by them.
