The Witch Collector Novels & Stories

The rift didn't just open; it corrupted. The violet light of the Sub-Directory was being eaten by a sprawling, geometric darkness that bled into the hangar like an ink stain on a liquid crystal display. The Collector didn't walk out of the shadows—it was the shadow. It was a shifting mass of obsidian scales and jagged, low-poly edges that seemed to lag and stutter as it moved, leaving a trail of pixelated void in its wake. Samuel's POV As I’m linking, movement at the top table catches my eye. A tall woman with dark, curly hair steps forward and settles neatly into Cole Larkin’s lap as if she belongs there. He dips his head to her ear, nuzzling her neck. Who the fuck is this? Caleb leans back and answers before I can ask. “That’s Catalina Nightcroft. She’s the witch who’s helping us.” The witch. I take another look, and the pieces shift. She must be powerful if she can cloak a stretch of land this large and block Task Force tracking. Cole’s attention stays on her, and for the first time tonight I’m grateful for the distraction. The less he’s looking outward, the better.

I was a witch, a Silver Witch, with powers and a heritage that I had never known about. But as I sat there, trying to process everything, I remembered the prophecy that the prophet had told me. I sighed, realizing that I had always underestimated myself. I was more than just a werewolf, more than just a girl with strange powers. I was a Silver Witch, with a rich history and a powerful legacy. The Silver Wizard's eyes shone with happiness as he looked at me. "I'm so glad to finally reunite with my long-lost granddaughter," he said, his voice filled with emotion.

I didn’t have to understand witchcraft to feel its dark purpose. “How does it work?” I asked with my voice quieter than I intended. Rachel pushed her glasses higher on her nose and looked at me. “The convergence ritual draws magic from various sources—rogues, witches, and any magical being tied to them. It channels their collective power into one vessel, elevating the witch who performs it to a level of control over everyone connected to the magic. That’s why Gloria’s been orchestrating this. Rogues, witches… Gilly. She’s consolidating power.”

Alpha Luther from the Sundown pack asked me in a serious tone. Giving him my attention " That's what I thought at first too but after I look into it, some rogue let information slip and at the end we capture the witch that Alpha Nathan was working with" I let my words hang in the room for a moment to see their reaction. I can tell that the elder did not like what I just said but he couldn't do anything about it because everyone in the room will questions his motive. " Did she say anything?" The elder force himself to ask.

“The important thing is that she knows this. Kruz and Kasper one of you needs to take a few warriors and see what you can find out from this witch.” “Okay, little sister,” Kruz said crossing his arms across his chest and narrowed his eyes at her. She glared at him and copied his stance. “Can you tell us where this witch is?” He questioned with a raised brow. “Well, I know the area where she’s located and descriptions so, I can show you where it is.” She smiled wide. Hunter’s face grew dark, “Oh hell no!” He bellowed. “There is NO way you are going to see some witch we know nothing about!” He gritted out, Taz was on the surface fighting to break through to protect his mate.

Her words echoed in my mind, each one twisting deeper into my heart. She’s right.I thought of all the times I could have left, all the chances I had to walk away, but I was too selfish, too caught up in her beauty, in the life we could have had. I didn’t listen. And now, Seraphina is dead. Elysia’s hands trembled as she raised them, a dark aura swirling around her fingers. I felt my wolf stir, but before I could do anything, the magic hit me like a wall, knocking me to my knees.“No...” I gasped, trying to shift, to let my wolf take over, but the spell was too strong.

Even if we had enough time—which we don't—there is no longer any possibility of a future between Julian and me. Victor collapsed onto the floor, defeated. I spoke again. "Ancient texts mention one other path: drawing a lot before the ancestral graves. If the ancestors agree, Julian, as the last heir to bear the punishment, could have his curse transferred to his son. "Eighteen years would be enough time for you to find another witch." "But this method severely damages one's soul. Transferring a debt you should repay onto your own descendants will trigger a backlash. As for how severe... I cannot say."

She moved onto the stairs and they really did a good job holding her up. As she journeyed through the stairs, she could scent out energy and power, this energy and power did not belong to a werewolf. No! Adriana took in the scent deeply and her eyes shot open. "A witch!" She mumbled and increased her pace, getting done with the flight of stairs quickly. And there at the end of the stairs was an old woman, the witch Alpha Collen had been keeping, Adriana at once knew this was the witch that made the potion Alpha Collen gave to her the last time when she feigned sickness.

He replied, “Our pack oracle told me and my dad that Dahlia was after me, so they sent me to live in the mountains in a shack the pack had there. I had been there plenty of times, so I knew how to survive. I was like you. They taught me how to survive without using magic and on my own. She found me. I tried to hide from her, but she grabbed me and beat the shit out of me. She broke my legs to keep me from running. I think they may be healed now.” “Well,” I sighed, “now that I know who you are, I will tell you a little more about myself. I am a witch, raised by Queen Winnie of the White Witch Coven.” Everyone gasped as I continued, “I know how lucky I was that it was her who found me. I alway
