he added sadly, and I felt Jagger back down slightly. "The attack on you and Kayda in the jeep was the first attack." My dad linked as I nodded. "Who is the collector?" I asked. "Never met him, none of us did. We got his messages and money through some small coven of witches he controls." he replied. "He's a wizard?" Adam asked as the rogue shook his head. "No, he's some sort of black demon." the rogue responded. "Long neck, lizard eyes, scaly looking." he shuddered at the memory.

I mean, even if I were, I would probably reject him, or he would reject me. Witches and Wolves do not mix; we are convenient allies when we both share a common goal. We are not friends, and we certainly are not lovers. I am from a long line of witches here in Chelan; my family is what you call witch royalty. The family line dates to the 18th century. Xavier is next in line to be Alpha of the Tukwila Pack. The strongest pack in the state of Washington. He will need a strong queen to serve at his side, but I do not plan to be me.

I secured our pack house to protect the Omegas and the children who couldn't fight then I removed their spell from the wolves. They had already caused us to lose a lot of men and they seemed to be growing in number. I attacked with all my strength defeating four of the witches but they were still coming, I had to descend from the sky when I began to grow weak. I was using too much of my power as it was. I picked up a spear and continued my attack when I reached the ground, I watched as Declan was tearing people limb by limb and snapping them in two like twigs. I lost concentration for a second and as soon as I turned back, I was blasted away by a Witch.

Though pain and exhaustion are eminent in their faces their intense glares at each other just say it all that both are still not giving up. Just then Lilan cast her hidden card. It was a hard spell to do even for a powerful air witch like her, it was a spell that could take away any living needs of your opponent, for a fire witch it'll take away light in your eyes, hence you'll be temporarily blind for the entire battle, a terra witch, the land below you will swallow your opponent whole, a water witch, it'll take away all your water in your body and use it for an attack that will damage you as well, and for air witches like Lilan, it has the most powerful damage because air is needed by the

Ilyra explained, her voice gentle but firm as she held the old woman’s hand. "The Nexus? You're both fools if you think you can just walk into the center of the marsh and take what you want, because the path is guarded by the Drowned Witches now," Hestia said, and she looked up at me with a grim, knowing smile that chilled me to the marrow. "They are the spirits of the women your pack threw into the black pools during the raids, and they’ve spent the last twenty years waiting for a Rauvenhollow wolf to come back so they can pull him down into the silt and keep him there forever."

He increased the volume and the fluid voice of the man on the screen filled the room. "... establishing ties with old and powerful packs, is a must for any new pack hoping to survive the rocky beginning. The Felt Hunting Club is a perfect way for young alphas like Donovan Creel, Rigel Howcraft and Tobias Lentiyn to get into the graces of these already established Alphas and maybe even form an alliance with them." Helena's magic roared inside of her, an untamed fury that demanded revenge for all the man she was seeing had done. "Are you alright?" Her father asked and she turned to him with a smile.

She rejoiced that the collar was gone from her neck but now only fear could be seen in her small face. "A sorcerer" She murmured as she took a step back in a startle. Her last wish was to be taken in by a sorcerer, but her misfortune struck a jackpot and served her with the last boss who probably would want to use her as a sacrifice! She knew she had very bad luck and often met misfortune but today, this misfortune was a thousand, no a million folds worse than ever!

I didn’t try to get the scene behind my eyes like I usually try to, I let it play again this time, relieving when the kiss happened, sleep welcomed me without me knowing. I saw a wolf, a huge black wolf. I looked around trying to figure out where I was but all I could see was a maze of trees, my heart thundered. The wolf standing a few feet away from me it didn't look like it was a normal wolf, it was more compared to the a wolf. It had black furs and long sharp pointed canine that looked sharp enough to rip iron apart. It stared at me like a predator stalking its prey, waiting for the perfect moment to lunge.

Even with the truth serum, I can see his face turn white. So, he was sent by the people making the Happy Dust and wanted to keep me quiet. Do they think sending a single assassin can silence me? It will take more than that. Nothing can take me down as long as I'm confident about it. After all, I'm the Red Witch. A rare being who can control the dead and make the world shake at the palms of her hands. With just a snap of my fingers, I can cause calamity. "It seems I was right," I grin. "Since Happy Dust has returned and caused an uproar in my life again. You people are ruining my peaceful time."
