“We won, Con. We won.” And as soon as I say those words, the main door, the door which the woman who was here earlier used, opens and we jerk our gazes to the person walking in calmly and closing the door behind her. Closing the door to keep the monsters out while the real monsters are in the room with her. She’s in a white sundress that hugs her curves and amps her cleavage. Her dark hair reaches her shoulders, caressing her skin the way I want to right this second, right now.

Exclaimed another woman who happened to walk in simultaneously as Blake posed. Shock and confusion was seen on Blake’s face as he recognized the woman’s voice. It was Miss. Wilson, who walked in at that very moment.

That’s when I looked up and stopped walking. There was someone coming down the road toward us. She was still far enough away that I wasn’t completely sure. It was a woman, walking at an easy, calm pace, with something in a bag on her shoulder. The morning sun was hitting her face from the side, so I couldn’t see her clearly yet, not clearly enough to be certain. Then she got a little closer, and I was sure.

Something cold trickled at the back of her neck, and on it's own accord, her head turned to the side to see the moment the doors opened, and someon walked in. A woman. Probably the most beautiful she had set her eyes on, walked in. And whilst Kayla would have admired her, something felt off... Especially when the woman turned, and looked straight at her, then smiled.

‘I’m a woman, and sooner or later, I’ll have to get myself married to someone…’ In the afternoon… Waylon brought Quincy to the Southern manor to pay Sunny a visit. This was Quincy’s first meeting with Sunny, so he was somewhat cautious, and the three chatted in the study. Waylon glanced out the window and saw Cameron’s figure walking across the courtyard. She then stopped the two middle-aged maids and said something to them. He saw her looking around first before talking to the maids—she looked very cautious, as if she was afraid of being heard. As for the maids, they were surprised at first but then burst into laughter almost instantly.

"Yes. And his dad knows my dad. So, I'm really invited." Sunny giggled. "Your future husband personally visited me to invite me. He said it would be better if we're there so you won't feel uncomfortable. How sweet!" I just grinned at them. We continued talking until someone knocked on the door. Sunny was the one who opened it and after a few minutes, someone barged in while Sunny kept on blocking her way. "Ma'am, please! Don't cause trouble here!" My lips parted as I stared at the woman who came angrily. She took off her sunglasses and glared at me.

I was about to speak up, but they beat me to it. “Hello, Elsie,” the woman said with a warm smile. Elsie?

she said sarcastically. “You made my life miserable so, I'm avenging for that,” she said. “How did I make your life miserable? I don't even know you” I said finally deciding to open my eyes. “Oh yes you do sweetheart” she replied. I opened my eyes and winced at the sudden impact my eyes made with the sun. I couldn't see the person's face clearly, but one thing I knew for sure was that it was a woman. “Don't try too hard to see my face sunshine because you will eventually see it before the end of today.” the woman said but I wasn't having none of that.

One foot in front of the other, Sunny was walking toward me. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” I said, moving my feet off the ottoman. Struggling to balance, with a wide stance and wobbly legs, Sunny had a huge smile on her face. My heart raced as I reached my hands out to receive her. Her smile grew bigger until she landed in my arms. Oh my God. Sunny had officially walked. She walked. She was walking. Holy shit. I’d just witnessed her first steps, and Carys was in the damn shower! She’d missed the whole thing.
