Hand on her back. Maya looked out the window. The sun was rising. Sixteen years of darkness. Finally, light.

An awkward silence descended on the room as each woman pondered about the new development and what it could mean. “Cheyenne, bring out the she-wolf right now,” Zokman bellowed, shattering the silence in the hut.
