The reviews began arriving on Thursday. Patricia Osei had told me to read them but not to organize my understanding of the book around them because the book had been written for the women in the long middle and the women in the long middle were not the reviewers. The reviewers were the first room the book passed through on its way to the people it was for. The first review I read was from a literary publication that described the book as unflinching and specific and written with the particular authority of someone who had lived inside the thing she was describing rather than observing it from outside.

Nicole looked at her with her wide eyes. Maybe not expecting that coming from her. In the modern world, women were independent with their choices and work. Women tend to earn just like men do. "It's rare to see that coming from a young woman like you but that's great for you, I guess." Nicole uttered trying not to make it sound rude while Serena chuckled at her face shaking her head. Nicole looked at her laughing feeling embarrassed already, the lady blinked twice trying to make sense again. "What? Home making itself is one difficult job, I think, I really do."

Damnit! I didn’t need women who would try to seduce me just so they could become the next Luna. I didn’t need women who batted their eyelashes at me and did everything I told them with their heads bowed. The library was a third illustrious and recognizable library in Wicklow for encompassing historical quixotic and idealistic fictions. They pushed the heavy doors open and entered into the reception area inhaling the smell of old books. "Hello, Ms Kate!" Louisa and Sheila greeted a middle-aged woman, sitting behind her desk reading a book. Ms Kate Long was a frumpy woman, and she was fanatical about books, and had always said; 'There's no-one like her who adored books like a possessive demon.' She was divorced without having children, and she thought of books as her family.

A frown came to form on her face and she pulled out few other books before placing them back in its place. Turning her body to look at the woman, she said to her, “Your library is for cookbooks, flower characteristics and Animal instincts?” “Mm, what were you expecting?” the woman answered, not looking at her and Amber scoffed. “I thought you might have some fictional books with some genres like Teen, Young Adult, Billionaire and Romance but I can’t find any of that right

She cleared her throat and coughed for a bit before speaking further. "Hold on, I will be back soon", she said and stood up, she started walking back into her room while Sarah and I exchanged glances excitedly. We were both happy that after all our efforts weren't a waste. She had finally agreed to help and we would finally be able to save alpha Derek. After a while, she returned with a very big book. "Did you come with any book of the witches?" She asked Sarah and me as she sat on her stool. "No, we didn't", I responded quickly.

She opens the door and leads us in. Her house is decorated with natural elements, arranged in interesting ways and colorful tapestries and crystals line shelves and walls.
