I just smiled while looking at the ceiling. “You pay millions just to have a kid. While some would not trade those millions for a lifetime. ” My sentiments. I sighed and my eyes turn weary remembering how I use to think that I feel like I’m not supposed to be in this world. "Because I, if I choose whether million or life, neither of those will I choose. I don’t want to live, I don’t want to be involved in this world. Look how scary this world is. ” I said. I turned to him and saw that he was still looking at me so I took my eyes off him.

EROS I sat perched at the very edge of the highest building in the city, my legs dangling freely over the side as I gazed upward into the vast expanse of the clear, blue sky above me. From this height, the world below looked so small, peaceful, and orderly, yet I knew better. I knew what truly lay beneath the surface of every street, every house, and every beating heart down there. "What a beautiful world… yet undeniably cruel," I whispered to myself, a faint, knowing smirk touching the corners of my lips as I slowly shook my head in disbelief. The contrast was heartbreaking—so much beauty, yet filled with so much pain, betrayal, and suffering.

~~~ *Mike* Quietly I sat on my bed and watched the light show from the open window. Normally the storms calm me. Mother nature protesting against the world, that’s how I always saw these storms. Her loud cries of displeasure, and her flashes of anger. A declaration against this world, and all the injustices of it.

Ricardo connected his chilly, melancholy, and curious eyes with Mr. Wu's as he entered his hotel room and said. "What exactly were you talking about?" Getting to his feet, Mr. Adrian Wu headed toward the corner of his room where a board had been set up with many photographs pinned to it and numerous drawn arrows connecting one picture to the next. He pointed to a picture of a man with an extremely flat jawline, beady eyes, and a straight mouthache and said, "Him."

Everything I had once longed for more than anything was right here in front of me now, but it felt like nothing special after all. Snow kept drifting across the screen. The code ran smoothly without any lags or glitches. It was clear Edwin had put in a ton of effort into building everything—even more effort than he had ever given Melissa. Way more care and attention to detail had been put into the coding work. But I merely skimmed through everything in silence and, after a short pause, clicked on the delete button. When the confirmation prompt appeared, I didn't hesitate at all. "Are you sure you want to permanently delete this?"

“You see everything as if the world is this wonderful, magical place—even if we’re just on our way to work.” Aston pushed her sunglasses into her hair, squinting at the sudden brightness before focusing on me. “The world is a wonderful, magical place. Especially your world. It’s so big and filled with possibilities.” “I guess I just never saw it that way.” Maybe it was because my world was so big I never stopped to pay attention to the small things around me until Aston was there to make sure I took the time to do it. “Where you see possibilities, I see the inevitable.”

I am certain that the shock I felt was written on my face, even as a horse. Hades! The first car, which I conclude is Rio’s, is the biggest car I’ve seen in my life! And Haera’s, who is a lot smaller than his, is still big enough compared to those we are using at Audravaria. Aside from that, these cars look so odd. I already learned about these on the book I was reading about Earth—I’ve quite read a lot about this world, after all—but it’s still strange to see their actual look.

"You are safe." I got out of bed slowly. My legs felt like they were made of water. I walked to the small window. I pushed the wooden shutter just a little bit. A wave of cold mist hit my face. The mountain was gone. I could not see the trees. I could not see the dirt path. Everything was white. The mist was like a thick blanket covering the whole world. "Maybe this is good," I said to the empty room. "If I cannot see the world, the world cannot see me. If the mist hides the road, the bad people cannot find the house."

"Like we’ve cut ourselves off from the 'real' world?" He looked up, his eyes meeting mine with a clarity that silenced any lingering doubt. "The 'real' world is whatever you give your time to. If you give your time to noise, noise is real. If you give your time to this—to the soil, to the water, to us—then this is the real world. Everything else is just static."
