ELIZABETH: The world was blurry when I first opened my eyes. My head throbbed like someone had taken a hammer to it, and a deep, dull ache settled in the base of my skull. I blinked rapidly, trying to force clarity back into my vision. It felt as though the air was thick, suffocating, and the room I was in was dimly lit, with shadows creeping up the walls. My arms felt strangely heavy, and it wasn't until I tried to move them that I realized they were bound. Panic surged through me like ice water in my veins.

I felt empty and nothing was going to save me. Right now I'm currently on my day off, sitting in the library reading a book about shifters. I thought I knew a lot from my library back home. The human library that I visited frequently had a whole wall of books about shifters. But they were all written by humans. Reading these books has made me realize I knew nothing. Three whole double sided bookshelves filled with these books. I hadn't even finished a whole row yet.

Alkhun was fascinated by the book ever since he first read it. It was the myth of the west. The myth about a tower, once hidden deep in the west. Where it is located, the structure, the system, the connection between worlds. Everything was written in detail. It was suffocating how fascinating whats that book has to offer. Like a gateway through the other dimension, that gives you goosebumps.

Our world, our home planet Earth had been our realm for so many years and yet it had been so little construed. Our world had been the most diverse and most beautiful and most precious and also the most mysterious in all of its prospects than any other planet in the universe. Yet, Most of our lives walk through the most ordinary and exceptional roads where we look for a better life, jobs, money etc. But, Our childhood had been different. Those years had been the place where all the stories we read and watch were real to us and we always hoped them to turn out true. With the destruction of yet another world, it signaled that other worlds would meet the same fate without assistance from the upper world or the realm of the gods.

The stories, however fragmented, painted a portrait of a richer, fuller existence, one vastly different from the harsh reality of our own. The stark contrast between the world depicted in the book and our current surroundings was palpable. The book’s vivid descriptions of lush forests, clear skies, and bustling cities were a world away from the radioactive ruins that surrounded us. It was a reminder of the potential of humanity, a testament to what we had lost, and a beacon of hope for what could still be.

I can visualize the clock wheels turning in his head, trying to decide if I am capable of understanding the complex poem. I like a challenge!
