“She doesn’t, and I don’t like you doing that.” “Are you going to ignore her history?” “What history? She was perfect. Ladies did not match up to her that’s Luna material.” Ashton scoffed. “Luna material? Perfect? She ran away from the battlefield. A soldier, a warrior sworn to protect the kingdom, ran into a man’s arms and forgot her duty. She left her father to die and didn’t even have the decency to come to his funeral, and you call that Luna material?” “She must have her reasons.” Asher’s tone lowered.

It took me by surprise as I hadn't expected such a reaction from them. Hunter then took center stage and began his announcement. "My fellow warriors," he started, "we have been through a difficult time. We have faced challenges that have tested our strength and resilience. But despite all that, we have emerged victorious. And today, I want to recognize our Luna for her unwavering support and leadership during these difficult times."

Sara was engrossed in her thinking as she enjoyed the scenery of werewolf pulps who were shifting. She failed to notice the Luna now close on her. "It's you," Luna Thelsa said with spite. Sara stood up immediately and bowed at the Luna before looking at her. "Can I do anything for you Luna?" She asked. Luna Thelsa raised her head in pride as she glared at the girl with sheer envy. "You're alone today." I guess you know how things was in this palace before you came and changed the story," she remarked. Sara frowned her face in confusion, "I don't get you Luna." Sara was confused. What story did she change?

38 (Tyler’s POV) Standing in front of Warriors I wanted to introduce the Pack’s Luna, a warrior in her own right. But what they only see is a small human that was foolishly marked by their Alpha. Now she stands here to show each one of them that she is able to take care of herself and with her own strength she is going to prove that she is not going to cause their Alpha to become weak.

We can live there for a while and move if danger surfaces. The words of the warriors that will be leaving with u go in one ear and out the other without barely registering but I do not let them know I'm distracted as they, too, greet their Luna happily. It’s been a while since my warriors had a woman to call their Luna and despite the fact she’s in the form of a baby, their respect still runs deeply. I’ve left the other warriors out so they know nothing if the unfortunate comes for them. The truth serum will undoubtedly unveil nothing.

A growl rising as my aura suddenly flared. The arena now silent. My aura pulsing for all to feel. As those who were lower ranked all bared their necks in submission. My pack bowing to their Luna. Jake, Zak, Alex and Aaron each unphased my power. My mates proud of me as I continued to assert my position as Luna. A task I didn’t know I was doing even as I knocked Lily out. A fist hitting her head which instantly knocks her out cold. Lilyanna unconscious along the ground even as I move to stand up. My aura still there but dimmer. The crowd soon cheering even as the announcer marks me the winner. Warriors soon coming to grab Lily before taking her from the field.

He collapsed, twitching. The crowd gasped. Two warriors are still standing. Both are circling me now with renewed caution. "You are holding back," one of them said. "Why?" "Because I am not a monster," I replied. "I am a Luna. And Lunas protect their pack. Even when demonstrating power." I drove forward, engaging both simultaneously.

The warrior froze, his grip tightening before he reluctantly released me. “She struck me,” he said defensively. “And you’d raise a hand to my Luna?” Warren’s tone was ice. “Do you value your life so little?” The warrior dropped his gaze, murmuring an apology. Warren’s hand found my shoulder, steadying me. His touch burned, not from pain but from the storm of emotions it stirred inside me. He leaned down, his voice low. “Careful, Lana. They’ll test you until you break. Don’t give them the satisfaction.”

Unlike a warrior with just your own life at stake, a Luna or an Alpha is responsible for everyone. And I guess that takes more than just courage and strength…”
