He examined her but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Logan was pacing the floor, growling. Dylan trying to keep him calm, David wondering why Logan was acting this way and why he refused to leave and almost bit his head off when he suggested to Logan that it was time for him to leave. This doctor was completely incompetent. He pulled out his phone and called his own pack doctor. He explained what he knew happened. The doctor told Logan to bring her to him immediately, and to bring Dylan.

I had to get her to the pack doctor, to someone who could help her. As we arrived, a flurry of activity surrounded us. She paced around the room with dismay written on her face and anguish and anger burning inside her heart for an abortive plan. We piled into the black sedan and Erik drove us to the pack clinic, which wasn’t far from where the jailhouse was. I hadn’t met the pack doctor yet, but I had heard good things about him. He’s been in charge of his own clinic for decades; he was also the most skilled doctor in the world. Which wasn’t surprising considering he was a doctor of the Crown pack. He was an older gentleman with a Son who will take over the clinic once he retires.
