Nightingale borders Pheonix yet until this war, none of us had ever heard of him. How are you so familiar with him?" Theodore bit his lip as his arm unravelled from my waist and he took my hand firmly instead.

Then, without a word, Theodore stepped closer, his imposing frame towering over Nick, making him flinch visibly, and he instinctively stepped back. “Dr. Nick,” he began, “I think you have the wrong idea about something.”
