“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

"I'm dying to do it for you, all you have to do is tell me." "I would like you..." "Better than that!" Mom snapped. "Like you want too Matt, like I'm one of those sluts you jerk off to!"

The Rebel

The Rebel

...........Vera Red pov.......... I have hated the idea of mate's since the day I saw my Dad raising his hand on my mom. And my mom doing nothing in return. The way he placed his claim on her,not caring if she was ready or not. Thinking she was his to do whatever he wishes to, without anyone questioning him. And in so many years,my belief has only strengthened. Alpha's are worst,if not better. And this reason is enough to despise him.

He Was Never Supposed To Stay

He Was Never Supposed To Stay

It looked handwritten, like a letter. “Georgia was always a selfish, self-absorbed bitch,” Mom spat. “She never cared about anyone but herself. And now? Look where that got her. Look where that *fucking* got me.” The pain in her voice cut deep, and hearing it made something twist inside me.

THE BILLIONAIRE WHO STOLE MY FIRST NIGHT

THE BILLIONAIRE WHO STOLE MY FIRST NIGHT

What if I was too damaged, too selfish, too broken to be someone's mother? "Then we'll figure it out together," Liam said simply. "But Evelyn? The fact that you're worried about being a bad mother is proof you're going to be a great one. Bad mothers don't agonize over their capabilities. They don't question themselves or wonder if they're enough. They just... don't care." "How can you be so sure?"

Doll Crimes

Doll Crimes

She did her best. “People who’ve never done this think truckers and lone travelers who pick up hitchhikers are all bad, scary monsters,” my mother says. “They watch these murder shows on TV and they think of big ugly men with junk food guts and rusty knives stuck through their belts. They hear about maimed hookers and shallow graves. Most people like to believe the worst, especially if it’s about something they’ve never seen up close.”

Revenge With Step-Daddy

Revenge With Step-Daddy

My hands shake so hard I almost drop the phone again. I switch to T*****r. The trending hashtag #ValeScandal is everywhere. Clips of Mom’s press statement are looping—her tear-streaked face, voice cracking as she says, “I never thought my own daughter would do this to me.” The replies underneath are savage. “Girl code doesn’t exist for gold-diggers.” “Roman deserves better than both of them.” “Bet she learned it from Mommy dearest.” I slam the phone face-down on the mattress and press my forehead to my knees. The room feels too small, too loud, even though it’s silent except for my ragged breathing.

Your Mom, Not Mine

Your Mom, Not Mine

It was never her fault. "If I hadn't handled her funeral, she would've started decomposing by the time you came back! Mom has been very good to me all these years, so no matter how dissatisfied I am with you, I definitely wouldn't extend that grudge to her. That's why I immediately settled her funeral affairs instead of waiting for you! "If you suspect that I did something dirty, you're more than welcome to report me to the police. And if they find out that I really did do something, I won't even blink if they decide to execute me! You can go right ahead!"

CRAVING ISABELLA

CRAVING ISABELLA

"Today proved it. I can't handle the responsibility of a life that tries to end itself the second I turn to grab a tissue. I’m not strong enough for the heart attacks. I’m just... I’m not ready, and I don’t think I’ll ever be. I don't think I can be a good mom." Chloe opens her mouth to argue, then she stops. "Why?" she asks quietly. "Why would you say you wouldn't be a good mom?" I shrug, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. "I don't know." "Bella..." I look down at my hands. "I just... don't think good moms exist anymore. I just look around, Chlo. Look at my mom. Look at your mom... Look at Noah’s mom. I look at the women who were supposed to show us the way and all I see are warnings. I don't

The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

The Billionaire's Replacement Bride

"That's wrong Mom!" "Our lives are going to turn out wrong if you don't freaking show up at the altar as your twin sister!" Mom suddenly shouted, stymied veins socking on her forehead while her eyes blazed with wrath, drilling holes through my face. She stepped closer. "The Rodriguez are the most powerful and influential people in the US, do you want to get on their bad side?"

Hey guys, thank you so much for reading this story. If you'd liked the story, can you please check out "Ruined by the Mafia." I just badly want someone to read that book and give me a genuine thought. Thank you!

I fee soooo sorry for Kim. No one deserves to be treated so shabbily, most of all by her mother. I’m so disappointed in Kim’s mother. I hope by getting married, that will be her ticket to independence and the respect she deserves.

Begin Again

Begin Again

"Yes, you are!" "But I don't know how to be a mom," she bawled, a thin stream of snot pooling on her upper lip. She wiped it off with the back of her hand. "I share an apartment with my three friends. I hate my job, what do I know about being a mom?" "You'll be amazing; the fact that you're already questioning yourself means you want what's best for your baby,” Dr Waylon beamed and returned to his place behind the desk while Eden cleaned herself up and buttoned up her blouse again.

Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.

Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.
