I nod quickly, but my chest rises fast as that pull hits again, stronger, more insistent, and this time it doesn’t feel curious.
It feels demanding.
“They want something,” I say.
Jax’s expression darkens. “They don’t get anything.”
Derek’s gaze sharpens. “What kind of pull?”
I swallow, trying to steady my breathing as the pressure builds again. “Not like before. Not just… feeling.”

“It’s calling,” I whisper.
