His life changes when he finds a mysterious silver coin on a lone walk home. And when it presumably saves him from the clutches of his usual bullies in school, he starts to suspect the coin is not as ordinary as he thought. But then people close to him start to get hurt and the coin starts to show a third sinister face that follows him into his dreams to haunt him and he finds out not all coins have just two faces . . .

Each one pulled almost all the way out, then sank back in until their hips met with a soft slap. He watched her face the whole time, loving how her lips parted, how her eyes fluttered shut.

The heavy silence that had filled the high-end meeting hall did not break for several long moments while the cloaked figures tried to process the familiar face of the wolf standing directly in front of them. The torchlight flickered against the damp stone walls, casting deep shadows across his sharp features as he reached up to adjust the high collar of his tunic with a slow, deliberate movement.
