This Book Is Not A Present Novels & Stories

Bentley I pondered for a long time on whether or not I should even wrap the gift. It’s just a book, really, but a gift deserves a presentation. I pulled it from behind my back and handed it to her. I watched her brows furrow, a small flicker of disappointment crossing her features—I did say it was a "big" gift, after all, and this was just a thin, rectangular object.
