I swallowed thickly under the force of his attention and pulled the book out of my bag, slamming it onto the desk. “What’s this for?” I snapped. His attention was diverted as he looked at the book. When he looked back up, his lips were slightly lifted. “You’ve received my gift.” Heat and annoyance churned in my chest. Was that all he had to say? “Take it back.” “No.” I reared back at the force and speed of his refusal. He leaned back, fixing me with a steady look. “It was a gift freely given. Taking it back would be discourteous and a violation of basic etiquette.” he said. “I've never done so in the past and we won't do it now.”

He looked surprised when she gave it to him. She glanced at John.: who’d helped her. He gave her an encouraging nod. “I hope … I really hope you like this as much as I do my own gift. Just … go into it with an open mind please.” She told him. Quinn frowned. “Okayyyyy…..” he said. He opened the present and took out the large book. He opened the first page and stopped. He stopped moving .. and Em thought he might also stopped breathing. She sure as hell did.

I asked no one before taking my book to shift to the bed as that place feels haunted right now and that too by the ghost called Abhi. I frowned looking at the message Abhi sent saying he forgot to inform something and added that Swapnil Sir proposed Maam but she is taking some time to accept it. This is not at all related to me and just let him do whatever he wants to. How can he just talk about my secrets like this when I didn’t say anything about their story to anyone? However, inside I definitely feel happy and proud that he finally did it even though confused that Maam is taking some time but then she has every right to decide what she wants to do.
