They tasted like beer. “Are you drunk already?” He chuckled. “On half a beer? No.” “So, you’re just being overly charming, laying it on thick.” My eyes narrowed. “What are you up to?” He quirked his brow at me. “What I am up to is cloud-fucking-nine, because I haven’t felt this good or been this happy in years. If I seem drunk, it’s because I’m drunk on happiness and…giddiness. I’m giddy.”

I am glancing at this cute, chubby doll looking all bubbly as she runs around with other kids at this park. She has played almost all the games here, and now, after making me and Andy run around like kids playing with her, she is having a great bonding time with other kids. Looking at her, I feel so content. Seeing her this happy and free fills my heart with joy. She is happy. Andy is happy. I am happy. I will do anything and everything to make sure their faces remain this bright. These smiles are my source of happiness.

Rosemary’s Pov “I will eat later…” I say softly , offering him a smile. He exchanges a look with Xavier , but I do not stay for the lectures that I know is coming. Instead I walk to the entrance and sit on the floor in a crossed legged position – my eyes fixated on the fiery red flames that almost touches the sky. I sit out there for a while , enjoying the peace of being alone. At this moment , all I ever want is to be alone. I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom.

"Yeah! Super happy!" "How do people feel happy?" He stopped looking around and looked at me in the eye. "Aren't you happy?" He asked with slight concern in his voice. I don't know what to respond. I have never felt any emotions ever since. Did I forget to feel emotions? "Uhm, look at this book. This is actually my favorite." I showed him a random book I'm not even familiar with to avoid the question. "I already read that." I looked at the book cover, and it was entitled The Death of Rosa Frost.

Sounds good. Wish I could join you.... Then I get a quick shot of the cover. What on earth's she reading? Tipping back her book to see the jacket, it's a bright splash of cartoon figures against a gentian blue sky. Smiley faced men and women frolic with a dog in front of a kids' classic 'first house drawing': a square box, with a triangle of a roof and a window in each corner. I peer at the blurb on the back.... "A few weeks ago, it was finite element analysis and Fourier series. Now you're reading chick-lit?"

Sunshine was gratefully took the kit and started to bandage Happy, while Baby was silently curling into a ball on Joy’s belly. "Baby, do you know who she is? Sunshine. " "Noted." Baby seemed to be less interested. "We need to go. It is not safe here. The creatures will find us in a minute." Sunshine was already carrying Happy in her bag. "Why is the vulture attacking Happy?" Joy was catching up.
