The Face of Revenge
Rigo leans back in his chair, a crooked grin spreading across his face.
"Doesn't feel real, does it?" he says, his tone light, but his eyes sincere.
"No," I admit, blinking fast. "It doesn't."
But it is.
Somewhere out there, people are reading the truth. Right now, someone is scrolling through the article. Somewhere, a truth buried deep is beginning to stir the surface.
I press my hand to my chest and breathe.
