In his hand was a shiny black briefcase. “You must be James?” he asked, his voice smooth and professional. I was taken aback. James? Sammy had changed his name. Perfect. “Ye... yes, that’s me. Ryder snorted and rolled his eyes at his little brother, “please take Peter to his care and help him find a receipt or anything that can help us figure out where they came from.” “On it boss,” Chase said with another salute and motioned to Peter and pointed to the door. Peter stood, placed a small kiss on Sam’s forehead and walked out the door with Chase. Ryle looked at Sam, “you doing, okay?” she asked. “Is Peter treating you, okay?” she asked.

That seemed to calm him slightly and Sam allowed herself a small quiet sigh of relief. “Well David has already arrived and met everyone except you,” he stated bitterly. She was just about to apologize when Tabby came up to them. Sam shot her friend a bright smile and good morning. Tabby was like an accountant wizard and Sam didn’t understand why her father made such a big deal about this David guy when he had her. “Good Morning Mr. Peters, Sam may I have a word with you please,” Tabby said, giving Sam a look she didn’t quite understand.

Following his question, the atmosphere in the room became heated with sexual tension. "I… I'm Sammy Evans," replied the young woman shyly as she sat on Peter's lap. Then, she turned around to flash me a provocative smile. My expression stiffened. I tried to smile, but I failed spectacularly, and it faded into a grimace. "Sammy, huh?"
