The driver having noticed that Thomas was already bleeding, shifted into his wolf form, broke down the car door and used his teeth to lift the injured man out.

The ground trembled beneath them. Noticing her distress, Thomas pulled her close. “I promise you, everything will be okay,” he shouted into her ear as bolts of lightning erupted from the stones, converging above them. At that moment, Aurora burst from the trees, witnessing their escape. “No!” she cried, leaping off her horse. “Hang on!” Thomas shouted as the earth began to crumble beneath them. Hera was pressed against Thomas, watching as lights danced in the air around them. The wind howled fiercely, swirling everywhere.
