Thorne Princess Lj Shen Novels & Stories

Sarah looked at the photo of her younger self with her late mother, the only ghost in this house she still truly loved. The pieces are falling into place. Evan Thorne’s cryptic "Sister-in-law" comment now makes perfect sense—he is Julian’s younger brother. As Nathaniel Vance prepares to use this dinner to forge a new alliance with the Thorne family, will Sarah realize she is the intended "prize"? And when Julian Thorne walks through those doors, will he see the broken housewife Sarah was, or the Alpha Queen she is becoming?

The only light was a faint, amber glow emanating from a vein of phosphorescent stone inlaid along the center of the table, illuminating two plates of untouched meat and bitter herbs. Arthur Thorne sat enshrouded in the darkness, his mask of hammered black iron a void where a face should be. He did not eat. He leaned back into the shadows of his high-backed throne, his large, gloved hands resting on the carved gargoyles of the chair arms like talons. "The Vane princess is quiet tonight," he said, his voice vibrating with a sharp, mocking edge. "Where is the fire, Bianca? Where are the demands for wine? The complaints about the lack of silk? Or did the woods finally knock the spirit out of you

~Thorne I sat on the chair built for kings. Custom-forged legs of dark steel. Red leather. It suited me. Because I wasn’t a politician. I wasn’t some low-level boss running errands and chasing shadows. I was Thorne. The name that turned grown men into ghosts and kept empires trembling. The door creaked open, soft heels clicking against the marble as she entered. Elena. Draped in arrogance and quiet defiance like she was born with it.

Deputy Alpha Thorne. Motioning for Eva to continue examining the jewelry, I discreetly glanced toward a secluded area adjacent to the main gathering place. There stood Thorne, locked in a passionate embrace with a young, flashily dressed she-wolf. Even from this distance, I could tell she wasn't Heather Reed—her appearance marked her as an entertainer from one of the local hunting dens. Luxury trading items were scattered carelessly around them, evidence of Thorne's attempts to buy her affection. The she-wolf clung to him possessively, her hands tangled in his ceremonial robes.

A lump formed in my throat at the mere thought of it. "But the girl is done, is she not?" Viren Sharp said. "The Lunar Nexus was their best bet, but with her gone, who is the red-eyed monstrosity going to bond with? Apart from Lance, who is the Alpha-to-be and his mate, they have no other weapons of mass destruction. This time, the playing field is leveled. And we still have that lovely trick up our sleeve," he shared a conspiratorial smile with the other elites, who flashed the same expression, except for Rowan Forger, the beta who never seemed to know how to smile.

She walked around around Riya, eyeing her challengingly as she went by while Riya yawned in boredom even though deep inside what she wanted the most was to drag her by her corn silk hair and teach her a lesson on manners. “If you think that you are better than the rest of us here at The Reaping then why are you even here? Why don’t you just hurry up and leave right now because Prince Caine or any of the lycan nobles for that matter will not want to be associated with low lives like you.” She said as she looked at me from bottom to top.

I got into my king size bed with purple bedding and cried for hours until I saw the sunlight getting inside through my window. The night was confronting like the moon could keep all my secrets but the sun was here again to remind me that I have to look strong. I could suffer all I wanted during the dark of the night but under the light of the day I had to be the strong princess or try to look strong as far as possible. At least I have my wolf Belle who is strong, in contrary to me she is furious and wants blood, she is not whining like me. We have our wolves from the day we are born but we get to sift when our bodies are ready, I sifted at sixteen just a year before while Stela sifted at fif

"I'm afraid you can't do anything, D'Angelo. I know you don't want to hear this right now, but I'm your voice of reason. The moon goddess must be playing pranks on you because there's no way an Alpha of the biggest pack in the South would mark a mere omega. It's pack law, and you must lead by example." I remained silent, gazing out the window. Leo closed the distance, placing a hand on my back. "We'll get through this together," he said, with sadness in his tone. "I'm here to support you." I got up from my chair and began walking aimlessly around the house. The night air calmed me, and as I passed by the glass walls, I heard heeled footsteps approaching me. Alexis, aka the-thorn-in-my-flesh,

That it will take all of my own for the power to fully manifest in my life. A deep voice disrupts my thoughts and I was quick to cover myself with the blanket as soon as I saw Thorne leaning into the corner of my room and staring at me. Even if we’re brothers, and even if he’s helping me with everything, I still cannot see myself being comfortable with him. “You’re finally awake princess,” he teased and bite on his apple whilst leaning more into the wall. Unlike me, who is obviously just woke up, Thorne is fresh as the mist dew of the morning wind and he was happy.

With the bearing of a seasoned warrior, she moved with fluid precision, each step calculated and purposeful, as though she were always ready for battle. Prince Thorn and Princess Ariana stepped forward with their son, Prince Kaelib, whom we had previously met. Prince Thorn’s striking presence was impossible to ignore.
