Thorne Princess Lj Shen Novels & Stories

My knees nearly buckled from the sensation, like recognition, like coming home after being lost for centuries. As we walked toward the dining hall, leaving my stunned sisters behind, Prince Thorne leaned down slightly. "They're wrong about you," he murmured, his breath warm against my ear. "There's nothing weak about surviving in a den of wolves when they think you have no teeth." My breath caught. "You don't know me, Your Highness." His lips curved into a smile that transformed his severe features into something devastatingly handsome. "Not yet, Princess. But I intend to."

A knock at the door snapped everyone’s heads towards the door. An attendant of no more than 20 came in. “Ah, sir. We have gone through the archives. It appears that Prince Costa’s beloved was the only daughter of an average household, lower-upper class at best. He was meant to marry someone else, but it appears in the records that he met Lady Shantali Imogen Jackson.” The blood drained from Dr. Thorne's face. He spun toward the young attendant with fury blazing in his eyes. "You were instructed to review those files in private!"

But his hand was shaking. He looked at me. He looked at the massive size of my wolf form. He looked at the violet light glowing in my eyes. "Royal blood," Thorne whispered. He sounded terrified. "The rumors were true." He looked at Leo. My son was still in his small white wolf form. He stood under the table and growled at the intruder. Thorne realized he had made a fatal miscalculation. He had come for a weak human woman and a hybrid pup. Instead he had found a Queen and her Prince.

“Go fetch Rune. We must start the ceremony.” I hold my comment on why it is necessary that we welcome our people into the new year with the lycans, but I force a smile to my face before turning to search for the idiot prince. “Princess,” a deep male voice says and I turn to find Thorne’s eyes taking in my form with a delicious spark of lust in his eyes. He takes my hand and presses a wet kiss to my knuckles. “Happy birthday.”

Silas hissed, though his left eye began to flicker—the telltale sign of a system glitch. "Don't you? Let's look at the foundation." Caspian held up the page. "The Ledger says the Thorne heir died in 1996. A fever. A quiet burial. And then, suddenly, a 'recovered' grandson appears three years later. A boy with no childhood photos. A boy who speaks five languages but can't remember the name of his primary school teacher."

The hem of the dress was laced with precious stones, but none of the stones were as precious as the day was to me. I struggled to sit down, my stomach tightly snatched, as my maid styled my white hair into soft waves. My makeup was lightly done, adding a touch of red to my lips. I am Elowen, princess of MoonShire Pack. And today, I am going to be Queen Luna after I marry Thorne Blackwood. Just thinking about it made my heart beat faster. The wedding was a very private one, only few people were invited. Thorne strictly supervised the guest list himself, inviting my brother, few of my friends, and some others that only he knew, to the Wedding.

She wore an elegant dark blue formal gown, her hair styled in a neat bun that showcased her slender neck, now adorned with the genuine Thorne heirloom emerald necklace. She carried a black briefcase guarded closely by Leo Vance. "Good morning, Gentlemen," Liora said in a calm yet authoritative tone, vastly different from the 'low-level employee' persona she had previously played. "My name is Liora Thorne. And I am here to inform you that as of 8:00 AM this morning, I have registered proof of ownership for 51% of the controlling shares of the Thorne Group under the law firm of Sterling & White."

Thorne, had us practice bows and greetings. "Travison, demonstrate a formal introduction," she said. I stood, with my heart beating fast. "Princess Liona Travison of Loxville, at your service," I said, copying Leah's tips. "Perfect," Mrs. Thorne approved. "Poise is everything." Classmates clapped lightly. I sat down, cheeks were warm but I felt proud. I didn't expect starting afresh with Leah's identity in a royal school to be going this smoothly.

“Oh, sweetheart, I missed the silence. I missed peace. I missed not wanting to commit homicide every time your name lit up my phone. So, no, I’m good.” He tilted his head, eyes glinting with amusement. “You’re adorable when you lie.” “I’m serious, Thorne.” “Then why’s your voice shaking, princess? And why are your thighs clenching already?”

She said and for minutes, there was this deafening silence from the inside of the room that stretched for hours. That silence was suffocating, scary, and it screamed for me to take to my heel, but I couldn't move. It seemed more like my body had a mind of its own— It wanted me to stay until the end irrespective of how it would break me and what it would cost me in the end. This had to be a nightmare. Suddenly, Thorne’s croaked voice broke through the silence. “What…what…what…” “Your beloved mate, Freya, is the Lycan Princess. She is the daughter of the same man who had killed your family, and she is currently carrying your babies. Your father-in-law is the same man who you hate so much” Her
