“Why? Are you afraid?” “Just tired of your nonsense.” Zaiden pulled Lyall away. Cedric looked at Stefan and nodded, and Stefan nodded back. Stefan pulled out a handgun. Mark turned into a wolf and lunged at Zaiden. Zaiden quickly dodged, but Mark continued to chase him. Two gunshots rang out, startling everyone. Lyall clutched his bleeding stomach. “Lyall…” Zaiden was stopped again by Mark. “Move.” Lyall’s legs went weak. His breathing was rapid, his hands trembling. Lyall sat on the ground.

"Mark, the man you killed that year was my father." At that moment, Mark finally realized that Sara had deliberately approached him to gain his trust and extract information. "Go to hell." Sara was extremely agitated. She grabbed a knife she had prepared in advance, intending to kill Mark to avenge her father. But Mark was quicker, seizing her hand and holding the knife to her throat. "Don't come near me, or I'll kill Sara." Mark quickly captured Sara and dragged her outside. No one dared to approach, knowing Mark would harm Sara. Sara was forced into the car, driven away by Mark.

Thorne's POV “Did you make sure every one of them is dead?” I asked, my voice cutting through the silent night air like a blade. Silas, my Beta nodded. “Yes, Alpha Thorne. We made sure to clear them all. Not a single rogue is left breathing.” As much I wanted to believe him, I couldn't. I needed to cross check myself. So I started walking towards the forest. His free hand shot out, reaching for the knife and I saw it before Mark did. “No!” I screamed. Mark reacted instantly, kicking the blade away and slamming his knee into Cholo’s ribs so hard I swore I heard something crack. Cholo groaned in agony, his fingers twitched, his was movements slowing hisbody was giving up. Mark leaned in, his face inches from Cholo’s. “You should’ve killed me when you had the chance. In a continuous movement, Mark dodged a hook from Killian, stretched his fingers with claws out, and drove them directly into the left side of my Alpha's neck. *STRACK!* The flesh of Killian's neck opened in four deep grooves from which blood well like a fountain, soaking his chest immediately. Killian fell to his knees at the threshold of the destroyed door, his hands searching for the open wound in a desperate attempt to contain the hemorrhage, his gray eyes losing their brightness as he collapsed on the pavement. “Killian...” the whisper choked in my throat.
