I just wanted to sleep. Over the past 3 years, we’ve gone from having a potentially broken mating with a messed up family and an unfaithful ex baby mummy to being in a loving, happy three way marriage, with three children, and another two on the way and the family I had always wanted- granted, I’d never imagined or considered I’d ever have two mates, but I wouldn’t wish it any other way.

"But let's discuss that after we come back home." It felt like a whiplash; I was about to cry and now he just told me that we were going out. "Where are we going?" I asked as I held onto his hand while he led us to our bedroom. "Marcello invited us to his engagement party," my eyes opened wide, and I stared at Mateo's delicious back. What I would give to see it naked. AHHH. "He's getting married!?" I yelled and my husband chuckled. "You'll get used to it. This will be his fourth marriage. They don't stay long," he shrugged, and it felt like there was so much more to his words.

My first wife left me for a drummer in an acid rock band and my second wife left me for an old college girlfriend. That being the way my luck usually seems to go I decided that I would never bother getting married again. So why did I marry a third time knowing that the marriage couldn't possibly last a year, two years at most? I have to blame my father for that.

It was intimidating. "This is our marriage agreement," he began, sliding a single, crisp piece of paper toward me across the mahogany coffee table. "It will only last for three months because that was our deal. I am a man of my word. After it expires, you have two choices: you can either divorce me and take a settlement, or we can get remarried formally in front of the world. I’ve already drafted the rules for our marriage to ensure things run smoothly."

I had asked him to marry me sixteen times before this. The first time, Nora had just gone through a breakup. Grant said he needed to be there for her, and that talking about marriage then would be cruel. The second time, Nora had started a new job and cried to him every night. He was afraid she might fall apart, so he told me to wait. The third time, the date I picked landed on Nora's birthday. He rented an entire yacht for her and told me, "She has no one else. If I do not show up for her, who will?"
