A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

He looks like he regularly visits the gym, but when you’re the leaders of an entire magical kingdom, I can imagine being in good shape is a requirement. “Where are my parents, anyway?” Sebastian asks. Thanos looks around until he spots them and points, “Over there speaking with some of the High Families. Perhaps avoiding them might be best,” Thanos says sympathetically. “I’m not avoiding my parents all night just because they can be stupid at times,” Sebastian says grabbing a hold of my hand, “I’m not staying in the closet just so they can be comfortable,” he says firmly. “Sebastian, I don’t think that’s such a good idea. You should listen to Thanos,” I implore, glancing over at his parents.

Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

Another excellent book! I couldn't put it down that I finished reading it in a day. anxiously waiting for book 6 to finish--not a fan of cliffhangers:) Or I may go back and re-read the series while I wait.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

I blush, then clear my throat, “No, it’s not that at all.” I sink to the ground with my back against the tree trunk and close my eyes for a moment, breathing deeply. The rich, damp forest scent all around me mingles with Evander’s warm vanilla and leather as he sits beside me, hugging his knees. “It’s about Brie,” I tell him, my throat feeling tight. “My parents made some good points about our decision to adopt her as our own.” “Like, she doesn’t have Firestone or Shadowsyner blood, and therefore can’t inherit titles from Veiled Valley or the Firestone Throne of Eastonia?”

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

Silver Throne Rising

Silver Throne Rising

“For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m in control. Like I’m not just waiting for things to happen to me.” “Good. That’s exactly what we want.” She leaned on her staff. “Tomorrow, we start knife work. And I’ll teach you some basic magical defenses.” “Magic? But I’m not a witch.” “No, but magic exists in your blood too. Royal bloodlines always have some magical ability. Your mother could influence emotions, calm or enrage wolves with a touch. Your father could sense lies.” Elena tilted her head. “We’ll discover what gifts you inherited. But first, you need to know how to defend against magical attacks. Witches and vampires both use spells, and you need to be able to counter them.”

The Disabled Luna’s Vengeance

The Disabled Luna’s Vengeance

I stood my ground while holding the sword with a tight grip. We were led into the main throne room, just to find it empty. Half of the property in the throne room, like my father's golden statue and his fathers too, were not there. My mother's picture and the family portrait, which were engraved on a metal plate behind the throne, weren’t there; instead, there was a glass seat that elongated to that rooftop like a flowing waterfall. It was made of the most expensive glass, the throne room looked like another universe,it was different from the stench outside the pack, the floor was made of mables, and the chairs that were carved were made of glass and coated with very lush pillows.

Thorne and Throne

Thorne and Throne

"Hmm Angel, It's nice to here again. I couldn't have you endure this torment again and so I called out to the Goddess. She and other gods trapped him in the form of the Prince. The price was I rest and not look for you and so I did. The Prince came forth essentially blocking the god. However, he was still drawn to find you. He doesn't know the reasons why, but he did and as I was informed made you queen." The man in the robes takes a vial out of his pocket. He pours the contents into a glass. Then bites his wrist dripping his blood into it. "Majesty, That was a vile of your blood I found in your chamber before.... Well you'll see. I've mixed my blood. I've always kept an eye on you at the ma

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

The dust from the shattered doors settled like toxic snow on Elder Thorne’s expensive charcoal suit, but the man didn't move to brush it off. He couldn't. His entire being was paralyzed, his eyes locked onto the three small children standing in the center of his path. Thorne had spent eighty years, nearly an entire lifetime, studying the ancient texts of the Silver Bloodline. He knew the prophecies of the "Triple Crown," but he had dismissed them as fairy tales meant to keep the lower ranks hopeful.

Alpha Went Crazy After He Killed Elf Mate

Alpha Went Crazy After He Killed Elf Mate

The day he came to the throne, the Elf Queen asked him: "Do you know the story of your parents?" He shook his head. The Queen smiled. "Then let it stay on the moon. They have gone to the moon. There is a tree there, and a stone table beneath it. They are waiting for you — waiting for you to tell them: the Thorne line never needs Elf blood again. The two races, at last, are at peace." He looked at the oak for a long time. At the two flowers on their single stem, silver-blue and deep gold, open in the moonlight.

THE STERLING SPARK: LEGACY OF THE BEAST

THE STERLING SPARK: LEGACY OF THE BEAST

"The Council are children playing with matches. They don't understand what the Thorne blood really is. They think it's a weapon. But I know the truth." He leaned in close to Alaric. "The Thorne blood isn't a curse, boy. It’s a bridge. We were never meant to rule the humans. We were meant to protect them from what is coming from the Other side." "The Other side?" I asked. Silas pointed to a large, black mirror at the back of the room. The glass was not reflecting the room. It was showing a dark forest filled with giant, shadow-monsters with red eyes.

Taking the Throne

Taking the Throne

“With your drugs that you thought could control me? Or with your body that serves both Angelina and me?” “No way…” His lips trembled uncontrollably. “You clearly took them every day…” Angelina’s face instantly turned red. She slammed the table and shouted, “Throw this madwoman out of the family!” I ignored her shouting and slowly removed the glove from my right hand. I raised my hand. On my thumb was an ancient, heavy black-gold ring, engraved with the family emblem—a phoenix in flames. The don’s ring was the symbol of the family’s highest authority. The entire room fell silent.

BLOODY THRONE

BLOODY THRONE

It wasn't just a copy, it was exactly the same. How did this get here? She puzzled over the familiar book, glimpses of a childhood she couldn't remember slipping into her mind. An old folded note tucked right in the middle of the book caught her attention, and she gently unfolded it. Somehow, she was sure she was meant to find the note. Her blood ran cold as she read the content of the note, cold sweat springing up on her spine. The contents of the note was simple but ominous. “The sins of the father live in the blood of the daughter.”
