“Oh, yes, he is fine. Shocking to find out he was part Ancient One too, but he’s settling in rather well, actually. Has to have someone keep a close eye on him, but outside of that, he is in no danger, dear,” my mother happily chirped away.
Rem let out a low humming sound in his throat. “His supernatural blood isn’t awakened, so I’m surprised any of you knew that,” he mumbled.
“Not awakened?” My mother asked, sounding thoughtful. “Are you sure, dear? His eyes sort of gave him away, when I got a look at him.”
