The demons, the witches vampire and werewolves behind her were protected by her magic shield as the monsters before them went up in the air like ragdolls and were shredded like piece of paper.

A chill ran down my spine as I turned, just in time to see Tiana emerging from the shadows, her eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. “You’re really making this difficult, Selena,” Tiana said, her voice dripping with mockery. “But I suppose that’s what I’ve always liked about you. Tee is fighting way too many monsters and mirages she can not control, so when she's quiet, I know it's getting a little too loud in her head.
