Till We Fall
It’s still as good as wearing nothing since she doesn’t have any underwear on and the dress clings to her damp body like a second skin but this time, I try my hardest to keep my eyes on her face.
“Let’s talk here,” she says, settling on the bed and gesturing for me to sit next to her.
I start heading towards the bed but end up taking a seat on the couch directly opposite the bed. She lets out a breath of laughter before leaning back on her elbow.
“Why did you want to meet me again?” she asks, causing me to arch a brow.
“I filed for a divorce,” I repeat the exact words I told her over the phone.
She chews on her lower lip as she stares at me. “And?”
