Your wife's at home having a baby and you're out globetrotting. [Seriously, what was the excuse this time?] Jasper had replied underneath: [I told her a once-in-77-years planetary alignment opened a time portal and I got sucked through.] [Man, only you could come up with something like that. Aren't you worried she'll lose it?] [She's put up with it for three years. This time's no different. She'll be at home waiting for me like she always is.] Three years of patience and forgiveness, and all of it had become a running joke between him and his friends.

Especially when they are related to Time. “I still don’t believe you,” I mutter, leaning back against the wall. “Whether you do or not, I thought I would stop by to share some information,” Time tells me, approaching me on the bed again. My skin shivers at his proximity. “I wish you wouldn’t.”

she said and showered me with three tangerines at the same time then she smiled foolishly. “You're such a violent person, sunbae. That's the last tangerine I'm gonna eat before I'll go to sleep again. I feel drowsy when I see you,” I said and yawned. I even saw her smile again before returning to her seat. I looked at the clock on my left. It's already 18:00 and wait—it is also a special day today. July 28. I saw my own rosemary on this special day at exactly 6PM.

he asks. “You don’t have a meeting?” I asks. Before I could tell thank him, I wanted to know this. Because my brother always has a tight schedule because of work. He barely joins us and come home. He even made a room here in the company. But if it comes to family dinner, or some family events, like if we wanted to hang out, he would make time for it. But, with a limited time only. Like for example, he will allot 5 hours to bond with us. And if that 5 hours ended, then he will left us and let us enjoy without him.

However, she knows the person is trying to achieve something judging from their decision making. "This bellend is waiting to see if I'm actually the one. A Timemara could only stop time for a few minutes and their immunity to time lasts as the duration of the stopping of time. If it stops now, that would mean that she's going to think that the person they're looking for isn't me." Sonia whispered to herself as she felt the fragments of time slipping away from her control as time runs out. Sonia closed her eyes for a second, thinking. Still, as the hands near the Roman numeral twelve, she started to have fewer options. She opened her eyes and with the remaining time she had left, made a run f

Sabine explained. "Would it help?" she asked eyeing her skeptically. "It should at least, I can't guarantee a 100%," Sabine finished with the sage and tossed the remnant in the sink. She pulled open her drawer and brought out a small round stopwatch, after fiddling with it, handed it to him "This stopwatch is set one hour. Press the red button immediately after you enter Hades' lair. I don't know how time moves on that side, but this watch would keep you informed of the real-time over here."

The three of them were still very much in front of me. "What happened?" I remarked, completely confused. "Foolish," they calmly replied. "We knew you would try this. We merely vetoed your power to stop and resume time as you please. We are the ones that control time, not you." I stared at them, unsure of what to do next. If they could simply cancel out my power with their own, what could I even do to stop them? "Now, allow us to end your life quickly so that we may return to undoing the damage that you have caused."

My boyfriend Noah Carter and I had a plan: turn our college's fourteen-day outdoor orientation into a fourteen-episode documentary series about us. For the eleventh time, Noah left me alone on the training field. His childhood friend Claire Moore had called him in tears, saying she'd been vomiting and was lying in the camp clinic alone and scared. Waiting for him to come back, I missed the camp's only sunset team drill and the closing long take I'd spent two weeks preparing. That evening, he sent me a photo. Claire sat in a dessert shop outside camp, a smoothie and a slice of strawberry cake in front of her, cheeks pink and looking happier than anyone else in the place. Noah texted back: "Th

“You are not negotiating progress. You are delaying your dead time.” Jeffery leaned forward slightly. “You only have twenty days.” The doctor froze completely. “Twenty days to bring this to an end,” Jeffery continued, “or accept that everything connected to your failure moves with it.” The doctor’s grip loosened slightly, but he did not fully release. Jeffery stepped back, adjusting his jacket. “And understand this clearly, time is no longer something you are being given. It is something you are running out of.” Then he walked out. Logan followed immediately.

"What happens if it hits 12?" "I think it's going to reset," I answered, staring blankly at the unmoving hands. "I don't even know where this information came from, but it's just... hardcoded into my mind. If the clock strikes 12 and I fail to completely change my destiny, time will snap backward. I'll die all over again. The exact same fate. Everything we fought for will be erased." "No..." he whispered fiercely, his grip tightening around me until I could barely breathe. "I won't let that happen to you. I will burn time to the ground before I let you go. Tell me, amore mio... what do we need to do to stop it?"
