After I turn five years of age and have my very own phone, I start receiving strange messages every single day. For some reason, the sender keeps referring to me as their mom. At 3:00 am, they send me another message. "Mom, I saw you in my dreams again. The rain is seeping into the attic. My stepmom told me to use a rag to soak up all the water, but the rag is too small. Even though I tried to wipe it up all night, it still wouldn't dry. Mom, I'm so cold and hungry. I miss you so much…" I tilt my head, looking at the rain pouring outside the window. I then earnestly reply, "Don't be scared, sweetheart. Where are you right now? I will bring you something yummy!"

I pick it up and begin thumbing through it. "Hey, babe, what do you think of this?" I show the front to Tiffany as she rounds the corner. "What is it?" "It's called Peanut's Wish." I flip through some of the pages. "It looks it's about a baby who can't wait to be born, or… I don't know. It sounds weird when I say that. It looks cute though."

She giggled as she skipped to the kitchen. “You wish.” I scoffed, rolling my eyes again. That was the least thing I was bothered about. Falling for Bruno was a huge mistake that told me that love was never for me and no one would change that. “A worm in your heart?” Tiffany asked as her lips curled to a frown. “No. Don’t mind Dorothy. She’s just playing.” I gave her a sweet smile and stretched my arms towards her. “Come read your book to me.” “Okie. You’ll like this one.” She grinned as she hopped off the chair with her teddy in her arm and her book in the other.

I was welcomed by a gushing wind of extraordinary aura from the centre of the room where Dorothy sat legs-crossed — wings outstretched behind her — and her eyes shut. Still baffled by the sight, I slipped in. The aura kept on spinning around her, making her seemingly barricaded from the rest of the world. I quickly cast my eyes around her room and filled them with warmness. Looking back at her, my eyes then caught sight of a big book with the word, “Butterflies”, and a smaller book that said, “Fairies”. Something inside me wanted me to rush right down to it and grab it, still, all I could do was keep watching from where I stood.

The four teens peered through the crowd. They could see nothing yet. And so they tried to make their way to the front to check out the center of the fun. They were surprised to see a short person dancing. She must be only about 3-feet tall. Her body was a bit stout, and her head was also a bit big on her shoulders. Her ears, neck, arms and legs were covered with jewelries made of gold, bronze and lapis. “A dwarf?” Diana turned to Elise grinning with an eyebrow lifted high, looking amazed. “They are entertained by a dancing dwarf?”

Gabriella was tipsy, so when a handsome stranger asked her to dance she smiled up at him and said yes, letting him take her hand and lead her onto the dance floor. She had been taking dancing lessons since she was a small child, even competing in the ballroom section for a couple of years before she was twelve. The young man was an excellent dancer too and they moved around the floor together well, when the band leader announced a Tango he looked into her eyes with a smile,

Everything about him reminded me of my favorite male lead character from my all time Romance book “ Make Me Yours Tonight” “About your test,some of you did well while others not so well” Mr Richard said distributing our scripts. “Good job Stephanie.” He said to me while dropping my script. I was so surprised to find out I had an A. English was the only subject I had struggled to get an A for weeks now . It was either a B or C . The smile on my face was second to none. I was still staring at my script when Mr Richard announced that he was giving us a break for 30 mins. He walked out of the class leaving those who were rejoicing rejoicing and those who were mad mad.

Jade held up three fingers, wiggling them in front of Tiffany. "30%?" Tiffany widened her eyes in surprise. How much money could a small dance studio make in a year? At most, a few hundred thousand dollars. Jade asking for 30% was just a drop in the bucket. Did she really need this money? Her request was obviously a way to soothe Tiffany.
