Hecantoncheires Hecantoncheires means "one hundred hands". They were enormous, had 50 heads and a hundred arms which had great power. Because of their bad relationship with Uranus, they were forced by Uranus to return to Gaia's womb. This led to Gaia's rebellion against Uranus. When Cronus had the power he imprisoned them in Tartarus. They were freed by Zeus and fought alongside Zeus against the Titans. They can throw very large stones 100 times more than their opponent. One of them Briareus became Zeus' guard.
