Silent Whispers of Love

Silent Whispers of Love

Yet, each shared moment, each conversation, was a constant reminder of her heartbreak. She sought solace in her art, using it as a means of escape. She began a new project, a series of paintings representing different stages of unrequited love. She painted her loneliness, her longing, and her heartbreak. The paintings were a narrative of her feelings for Mike, a chronicle of her journey through the tumultuous sea of unrequited love.

Ephemeral - A Modern Love Story

Ephemeral - A Modern Love Story

“Okay, then explain it to me again, because from what I remember you telling me about it, it’s just about how like love is like a sticky note.” “Close,” I begin explaining, “he said that love can be written on crumpled stationery, written on sticky notes wedged between the pages of a book or stuck on a fridge door, or baked into the edges of a chiffon cake. The point is that love takes different forms but the common thing about is that people like talking about it. Kind of like how we always end up interacting with it in some way, and we are all obsessed with it on some sort of level.”

When love lies

When love lies

*“My dearest J, If I could go back, I would choose you every single time. I see your face in the morning light, hear your laughter in the silence. They told me it was wrong. That we were wrong. But how can something so true be a mistake? I should’ve run after you. I should’ve fought harder. I should’ve been the man you needed me to be. I write these now because I never stopped loving you. Yours, even when I’m gone, Kenneth.”* I couldn’t hold the tears back this time. They came like the tide steady, unrelenting. The love we lost wasn’t just memory. It lived here, in ink. In confession. In regret.

This is the second story I’ve read from this author… LOVE the stories! They’re really good! Unfortunately however.. both stories seem to have been dropped! Both stories get you hooked and leave you hanging! I wish there was a way to reach the author on this! But from what I’ve read it’s a good story

IN LOVE WITH THE ANCIENT LYCAN WOLF

IN LOVE WITH THE ANCIENT LYCAN WOLF

I replied. She cleared her throat, "Hope you are counting, if you cheat you aren't to like what I am going to do with you, I am also counting, so don't think of cheating." I nodded my head as I waited for her to start, "My cupcake, the sun and the moon that brighten my day and night. My king, the key to my heart, my sugarplum, The love of my life." I shook my head at the last one. "Nope, I won't agree, you don't have to call me the love of your life, it's not a romantic name, to me it's a title." She paused, her face was mean, she exhaled and continued.

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME

This time his eyes stopped on a poem. "Why do we love? Why do we dream? Why are we failing? Why do we forgive? Perhaps because love is the force that keeps us alive, because it is love that has guided us from the beginning. Why do we love? Why do we hope? Why do we suffer? Why do we forget? Perhaps because loving is the most human thing possible... I have no other answer, I only know that I love you and you love me. Why do we love? Why do we dream?

Super love the pacing of the story. How it showed Isabelle's agony with her parents' divorce then slowly revealing other characters. This is a highly recommended book since unlike the other stories I read, this book didn't give all the ideas in just one snap (makes the readers want to read more)

I really enjoyed this book. Your writing is really emotional & riveting. You write about difficult topics such as violence, domestic trauma, emotional trauma, human frailties with sensitivity & emotional caring, which is very tough to do well. I appreciate that you approach these matters in yr work.

ONLY HIS

ONLY HIS

And when the first five words left his lips, I could not explain how I felt because somehow we prepared the same vow. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace I love thee to the level of every day’s Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs and with my childhood faith
