The Duke's Unwanted Wife

The Duke's Unwanted Wife

"How exactly are you going to stop a god?" "We defeat a god with another god, just like they did in the past. Most of this is just assumptions and I hope I'm wrong. It may be callous of me but I cannot take the blame for the Queen's death. Taking the blame would mean I am guilty but I am not the one who killed the Queen neither am I the one who was supposed to protect her." "But you're the only trascendental in the entire world." "And what exactly can a transcendental do against a god, not to talk about two of them? If they could easily kill her instead of negotiating with me, it means they were planning to kill her in the first place."

Twins for my Alpha Ex-bodyguard

Twins for my Alpha Ex-bodyguard

“You don’t believe in God, I gather. Or purpose?” “The real world doesn’t work the way it does because some invisible man in the skies wants it to”, was his gruff reply. I wasn’t religious. Not the sort that carried rosaries and prayed at night for penance of sins. But I liked to believe everything that happened wasn’t just coincidence. Like running into Kade. “Is that why you kill? Because you don’t believe in God or sin?” “In my world, sin is what drives me. I kill because I have to, and if I don’t, my purpose as you put it, is done. I’ll be done”

"What are you going to do? Kill me?" "Yes. I will drain you dry. I will suck on you until you are nothing but a dried up old husk. Do not test me on this.” Feeling brave, I lift my chin and glare at Kahn. “You can’t kill me. The Goddess herself sent me to be Johnathan’s mate.” “Oh, kitty-cat, you have no idea how sick I am of The Goddess and her… games. I can kill you. The Goddess will hate me, she probably already does, but she’ll just send another. You are replaceable.”

I am loving this book so much! Author is consistent with updates and it’s so well written. I can’t wait to read more and understand why certain things are the way they are in the story because it is INTRIGUING!!! And I can’t wait to learn of certain people’s motives! Keep it up author!

What an incredible journey with this book! The storyline and characters are enthralling. I liked the complexity of every character, their struggles to overcome abuse and how they supported each other to overcome it and how they faced a nearly extinction event.

Whispers Of Ember Hallow: The Luna's Awakening

Whispers Of Ember Hallow: The Luna's Awakening

But if there was anybody deserving of my respect it was the goddess. "Rise," she commanded softly. I raised to my feet but still kept my eyes lowered, feeling like I shouldn't look into her eyes. "Is he dead?" Aric asked and I snapped my head towards him while Kaelan groaned softly. "No," the goddess answered softly, no hint of irritation in her voice. "You cannot kill a god. Even with so much power I can not. I simply banished him to the void where he would seize to exist. That's where the gods who are forgotten go. But Malakar would not be forgotten. Nobody can forget death."

Killed by His Fix

Killed by His Fix

"If you hadn't egged me on, I wouldn't have done that," Marina screamed. "It was you. You killed Caitlin. You're the murderer." Anthony suddenly laughed, smacking himself. He wasn't holding back. I could see his cheeks swell up red even from a distance. He dropped to his knees. "You're right. I killed the woman who loved me. Her blood's on my hands. I'm a murderer." I rolled my eyes, and he pulled out his wedding ring, which he had taken off since Marina showed up.

Kiss me, kill her

Kiss me, kill her

For a brief moment, I wished I could go back to before it all started. *Ivy* I heard Camila's voice echoing faintly down the hall. She and Max were in the lounge, probably discussing Ana… or more like, the mess I created. Well, should I feel bad? Probably. Not really. Not fully. I killed her. That’s the truth. I ended her life with my own hands, and now people were mourning her, not knowing the devil was still walking free. “Gosh, that’s so awful,” Camila said, her voice tinged with shock. “Who could do such a thing?”

When Kindness Kills

When Kindness Kills

Eliza screamed, her legs going weak. I whipped toward the source of the sound. On top of an abandoned water tower not far away, the man who'd begged for a detonator earlier was standing there, wildly hammering an oil drum with an iron rod. "I was planning to scam a detonator and blow open a vault. Since you wouldn't give me one and got my brothers starved to death on the road, none of you get to live! I'll drag in a zombie horde and send you all to hell with me!"

A God's Obsession

It shattered against an unseen barrier and snapped back into him. He fell to one knee, breathing hard, blood trailing down his chin. “It… it won’t…” His voice cracked with disbelief and anger. “I can’t hurt you.Damn it Isis” he cursed Ivana felt her heart hammering. “Why?” she whispered. “Why are you trying to kill me?” He slowly lifted his head. A mocking smile curled his lips. “Congratulations,” he said coldly. “You are the bride of a god.”

Kill This Love

Kill This Love

He stumbled back. “You… how do you know?” I answered only, my voice like frost. “Because, like you, I was reborn.” Panic tore through him. His eyes went wild, his mouth muttered the same words again and again. “No… no… impossible…” Not long after, the tribe found him dead at the edge of a ravine. The corpse of a lone wolf, rotting and forgotten. And I… I held William’s hand and walked toward our future. Under the rising blood moon he bent to my ear and whispered,

Killed in Our Home, Reborn to Change Fate

Killed in Our Home, Reborn to Change Fate

"How did the family next door actually die? This is murder! If people find out, we're finished!" "Keep your voice down!" Gabriel's voice turned vicious. "It was that idiot Jasmine! I told her to saw through just enough to cause a small leak for a minor explosion. Who knew she'd lose her mind and cut straight through the main line?" "So what do we do now? That family is actually dead!" "Good riddance!" Gabriel gave a cold laugh. "Dead men tell no tales. That family was greedy anyway. They took the 200 grand to fake their deaths and leave the country. Now that they're actually dead, no one knows we paid them off.
